Sud-shedded from Weymouth to Hintock the 27XX spends its days pottering up and down the Hintock Branch between Hintock Junction and Port Bredy.

 

Here, seen in the 1930's it's shunting Hintock Farmer's Trading Society siding in Sheepcroft Yard.

The problem with photos is often they can be cruel to what are in fact excellent models, don't be so close to your model and don't light it quite so harshly, the shadows make things look wonky when they aren't.  It's actually a really good model.

And, if you prefer the 27XX in colour (see post #2870) here it is. I think there is something to be said about either version.

John - I hope you don't mind me taking a liberty with one of your shots.  I've done no more than crop the bottom to eliminate the baseboard.

I do have the means to crop, but it never seems to work for me. I must try harder and master the art.
