Busy times on arrival of a train from the Wymondham direction at Pott Row

Our intrepid photographer also recorded the scene in black and white as colour film was rare around 1950.

Fantastic shades on those figures. I think people are incorrectly modeled in many cases, and can let a layout down, but you've captured a 50's/60's era there, very well indeed.

Back to the safe side now and the next few trains to pass, Hymek D7022 on an engineers ballast train, D806 Cambrian on a North & West service heading back to Newton Abbot and finally Lightning again on a Paddington bound train. This was just before the Britannias were all transferred away to the London Midland region.

Hi

Nice photos and great weathering on the Britannia Class.

Regards

But I took this pic for a local advert that I'm running next month.
