RMweb Gold PjKing1 Posted June 12, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 12, 2016 Ah, very "Trains Illustrated Annual", it's got the character of one of their colour plates.... Thanks Chaz I've been looking at old photos on Flickr to try and get the colours right, can't wait till I've got the scenics done to give them a better background. Cheers

Popular Post Unicorn1
Not from Bishopscombe this one, but from my ongoing Princes Park diorama. A lone STL stands in Princes Park garage. This is still work in progress, but it's nearly ready for some photos. Les

RMweb Gold Vistisen Posted June 19, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 19, 2016 Race day special.... I'm don't think this is very realistic. The wagons are not even weathered!
SRman
Those horses ... sorry, ponies ... should not be exposed to the weather! Other than that, most realistic! Edited June 19, 2016 by SRman
mullie
Race day special.... I'm concerned as that breed of pony wouldn't have been seen in Western England/ Wales during the suggested time frame and they may not have the correct number of rivets! David41283
Race day special.... You can tell that's a model. If you look closely you can just see the tension lock couplings.
87023Velocity
The lack of a brakevan ruined it for me, the livestock although slightly overscale would maybe work with some 'pro weathering' to tone down the bright colours? Maybe shoot in black and white?

vitalspark
Great picture ,like the lower set of signals in the picture shows it's a small part of a bigger area Brian Have looked at a few more linked to this image and they are simply stunning. The tenements and the attention to detail are incredible and the night shot of the Class 26 in the station...could be Dalmeny on a winters night while still gaslit..it doesn't get any better..well done.
