I feel it is about trying to capture something in the right lighting conditions, which I rarely manage. The above being one of the exceptions. Out of curiosity, is this sort of lighting acceptable here? It can bring some texture to the subject, shows it is real. At the moment I prefer to take "punchy" pictures rather than the "bright cloudy day" effect favoured in the magazines.
