Powerhaul 70 Pey Posted March 23, 2015 Share Posted March 23, 2015 A forced days holiday today due to my 1 1/2 year old daughter being a bit poorly so had a drive to Acton Bridge just south of Warrington on the WCML. Never been here before today but heard it can be a good place to see freight along the WCML. Also due to being south of various junctions you get the freight workings to and from the likes of Widnes, Runcorn and Liverpool. The trains tend to be travelling at some speed through here so with just a camera phone and some sunshine and showery weather here's the results. I am sure that there must be an unwritten law to the effect that railway stations are the coldest places on earth ( - well, second only to airfields!)
