RichardEyre
Good news Chris. 6 locos chipped and programmed. 007 was a cow to smooth out but I think I've managed it. Everything crawls on speed step 1 apart from the 56, which starts at 4 (not many options with the Hornby chip)

enginelane
Just returned from putting the layout away from the Leeds Show. A successful weekend running trains with the majority of problems being operator error! Really pleased with how it ran and received by the paying public. Next exhibition date is Pontefract Show Jan 2015.
RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted October 26, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 26, 2014 It was good to see it up and running at a show even if I couldn't get near it for WRMS committee members. It looked good. Jamie
enginelane
A new crane appeared in the scrapyard at Leeds over the weekend due to the conversation " have you packed the cranes and vehicles?" " must have done, there were no boxes left in the clubrooms" " Sure? It's just 10 mins to call in at the clubrooms" " no it's fine" " anyone seen the cranes and vehicles?" Expletive deletives many and varied. " I will see what's for sale on the traders stands" So with it being a local show Chris went back and found said items whilst new crane stood in. Needs weathering and fettling and I think will be good placed down by the metal shredder. Edited October 27, 2014 by enginelane

enginelane
Main weathering completed and needs to throughly dry before adding remaining frame dirt, Earth and black washes with little grease oil on Rams. Job done ready for siting next to the shredder
enginelane
Crane and vehicles now all boxed and clearly labelled so no excuse for being left behind. Might be pushing it by calling them Chris's boxes!

enginelane
Tidying up through the stash and came across a Class 153 and I think a Bratchell kit of a Class 150. I think these will be the next weathering, chipping and construction project for Troutons

enginelane
Nice work on the colas fleet. enginelane
Long days at work and with the run of Return to the Forbidden Planet not a lot of modelling time in the forthcoming week. Made a stsrt on the kit of the class 150. Carriage sides and ends quickly constructed, good design of lugs into slots mean that the ends are tight and square.
enginelane
The cab ends are finely cast in clear plastic, could be difficult to paint but I am confident I know someone who is very handy with masking tape and a spray gun
