Morning.

The look of that picture seems quite appropriate for what is the first cold damp morning around here. I hope they have the kettle on the stove somewhere in the gloomy depths of that loco shed!

Morning all.

Coffee in hand, I am currently viewing the most excellent Old Parrock by Paul Rhodes.......

See it at the Uckfield show next month.

In other news, I'm hoping to add the finishing touches to Ewe this afternoon.

More reeds to be added and a spot of paint to the scenic section end boards to blend in with the New Improved Public  Presentation Lighting Equipment

Track cleaning and final hoover can be left a little while longer......

Photos to follow.

We were at Stafford over the weekend. Sir would have enjoyed it. This was the view from our Sunday morning parking space...

and this sight greeted us outside the Premier Inn a little earlier

Show was quite tidy as well....

Morning Chris,

Utterly splendid.

I hope, one day to gravitate to the dizzy heights of taking a trainset there myself  one day. ( The show, not the premier inn  car or the field )

That's a very Turner-esque sky. It really fits with the lighting and colours of the scene.

Suitable for a pre-grouping layout perchance ?

Of course you being a sheep and everything the lure of the field may be to much for you realise. Perhaps Mrs Sheep could stay in the premier inn and collect you on the way to the show.

No need for a sheepy lift .... the field was next to the hall...result.

Morning Winners....

We have evolved, pretty much in the same way that you no longer live in a cave.

I'd always assumed that it was a clever reference for having been hoofed out of the navy on spurious charges?

Trying to think of a clever retort to that comment but can't think of one for the moment. So leave that with me while I investigate. Ewell have to wait awhile- see what I did there.

Last time I looked, Ewell was near Epsom, Surrey. I don't imagine that there's a huge sheep population?

I'm sure with your personal skills you would adapt easily to any of the three settings...and if not we'd buy Mrs NHY 581 dinner...she may dish the dirt...)
