Keith George
As anyone any experience of using the rolling roads as always listed on Ebay.? The type that you need 3 or 4 units and are placed on the top of the track. Are they worth the money and is there any drawbacks when using them. Keith. JeffP
Some aren't a good fit on PECO track. Sorry if that's no help.

phixer64
Got myself a rolling road from realistic models yesterday at Warley, not cheap at £85, but a fantastic piece of kit.
Keith George
After reading all I can about rolling roads I have ordered a Hornby RR. It would appear to be the easiest to use seeing that it is a complete unit. Keith
RexAshton
It's worth a look at these. They are good value and well made. You can have any gauge you want. No connection, just a satisfied customer.

BG John
I've got a Bachrus 50 Series, supposedly for 15-23mm gauges, but before buying it I confirmed that it would open up to 28mm for my 4mm broad gauge stock. I've now discovered it will take 32mm gauge as well, so I can run my O gauge locos on it, although I'm a bit cautious about the weigh and size of them, even though I won't be having anything bigger than an 0-6-0. I've run one of my Dapol Terriers in on it without a problem.
Chris Turnbull
Not really what you were after but here's my home-made rolling road albeit in Gauge 1. The only things I bought were the ball races, the rest is scrap material. Chris Turnbull

I’ve just bought one on eBay for £75. I was struggling with the little clip-on ones, O Gauge die-cast body locos weigh up to 5 kg and the very coarse scale wheel profiles and traction tyres weren’t a good match. This unit is just the job on first trial, secure and robust, easy to adjust.. the centre bar provides a good contact for 3-rail locos, too

Is that just me or is it that the rollers aren't really that well-profiled or free to roll?
