  2. I would totally agree with that! I'm not sure why EWS bought so many class 66's. Maybe they could have ordered more Brush class 60's with revamped and more powerful engines. The 60's certainly look at home in any livery. Come on EWS, lets have a railfreight grey liveried one just for nostalgic purposes!!
  3. I agree! That image could be transformed into a nice little layout!
  4. Some nice progress there Pete. I'm sure you will make your exhibition deadline and I'm looking forward to seeing it in action. Best regards, Jeremy
  5. Thanks Jeremy - I'm guessing the Peco Streamline isn't one of them...yet I'm seriously considering that one!!
  6. Looks great Pete! Sometimes it's best to rip out and start again. I know I have started a few things again as if I didn't, they would bug me forever! Best regards, Jeremy
  7. Some nice weathering there mate. I did my MK1 b/g a little while ago with weathering powders. How did you do yours? Best regards, Jeremy
  8. That is a seriously small DMU cab Will! Best regards, Jeremy
  9. Thos lights are really impressive Pete! Unfortunately I can't help on the switch though, I'm not great with electrics so I tend to keep mine to a minimum and as simple as possible. Best regards, Jeremy
  10. Nice work! Looking forward to seeing it finished with the weathering. Best regards, Jeremy
  11. Did they produce an Inter-City executive livery version? I've only ever seen the swallow liveried ones?
  12. It would be worth picking up some of the older TSO's then just to get the 2e configuration. The majority of the ones I already have are the newer tooling.
  13. Thanks Graham. All this information will be really helpful as I have decided to renumber all my coaches to suit the location. Best regards, Jeremy
  14. Cheers, I'll see if I can get a copy on ebay. The more info the better! Best regards, Jeremy
  15. Thanks Graham! Some really useful and comprehensive information there which will help with the detailing. One more question, you don't happen to know which vehicle numbers were allocated to the Western region in the 80's? Thanks for your help! Best regards, Jeremy
  16. Thanks Bernard. I was thinking of having some interior detailing so it's great to know the colour schemes and positioning of details. Best regards, Jeremy
  17. Thanks Vin. I'll see if I can get a copy cheap on ebay. Best regards, Jeremy
  18. Hi All, Does anyone know the difference between the MK2d, MK2e and MK2f coaches (1st and 2nd class). I have searched the internet but can't find any info on this (maybe there aren't any differences!! ). I am looking to know whether there are any underframe / body detail differences, and interior differences as I would like to make my Graham farish examples as accurate as possible for my Cornish N scale layout. Also, what was the interior colour scheme for these blue/grey examples running during the 80's in Cornwall? Lots of questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Jeremy
  19. Very nice Will! Looking forward too seeing more of the bridge, it will make a fantastic feature of your layout. Best regards, Jeremy
  20. Nice work Pete! Some excellent looking cassettes there. Will you be making some of these to use on Coombe Junction? That rake of PGA wagons looks impressive too. Best regards, Jeremy
  21. Nice work Pete! Looking forward to seeing how your platforms turn out. Nice to see you posting again. Best regards, Jeremy
