Good evening all! I have finally been able to get somewhere close to finishing this structure for Par station and I am rather pleased with the results. The mesh has fitted in well, albeit seriously tedious to fit, and I have finally painted the model, and added the lamps using wire handrail for the supports and wheel axle bearings for the lamps. I have also made some lamps out of rounded off cocktail sticks and painted them white. ( I have yet to fit these ). I have also decided to take a big step forward and have moved in the permanent way gang in to convert all the Peco code 55 track to 2FS easitrac. However I'd like to get a good amount of work on the scenics done first, and with a baby on the way due next month, I'm not sure how far I'll get. I'm also tempted to start a layout thread once the track has been changed over to 2FS so I can document the progress of this long term project and keep it all in one place. I would totally agree with that! I'm not sure why EWS bought so many class 66's. Maybe they could have ordered more Brush class 60's with revamped and more powerful engines. The 60's certainly look at home in any livery. Come on EWS, lets have a railfreight grey liveried one just for nostalgic purposes!!

Did they produce an Inter-City executive livery version? I've only ever seen the swallow liveried ones?

It would be worth picking up some of the older TSO's then just to get the 2e configuration. The majority of the ones I already have are the newer tooling.

Stunning model David!!

Hi All, Does anyone know the difference between the MK2d, MK2e and MK2f coaches (1st and 2nd class). I have searched the internet but can't find any info on this (maybe there aren't any differences!! ). I am looking to know whether there are any underframe / body detail differences, and interior differences as I would like to make my Graham farish examples as accurate as possible for my Cornish N scale layout. Also, what was the interior colour scheme for these blue/grey examples running during the 80's in Cornwall? Lots of questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
