A large hammer? Surely not on such a wonderful layout such as Eridge?

I am just about to embark on the same journey - Gordon's book is on its way from Simon and I have a couple of armatures awaiting instructions.
Like you, the GG trees will 'front' the display on Beaminster Road whilst the interior of the wood will be reworked 'bog-brush' trees which act as view-blockers.

I just found someone selling liquid latex in 500ml containers on Ebay for £6.99 (post free) which is a bargain compared with Copydex
The use of latex glue for static grass becomes viable at this cost and having wasted £££'s using Greenscenes' Scenic Cement aka matt medium,
the use of liquid latex is essential.

It's a kit of 10800 - Alexander do kits for the similar but not similar enough Class 15 and 16 also. Tim Shackleton did a build/review of this Alexander kit for MRJ #171.
Thanks
I didn't see the kit in Dave's list.

Is the Alexander kit based on 10800 or is it based on a derivative?
I am not an expert on early diesels but this looks like a great blog.

I realise that it is not de rigueur to espouse previous offerings of 48DS but the A1 Models etch plus the RT Models chassis is worthwhile option that is cheaper than the Judith Edge kit.
However Paul shows that the Judith Edge product is rather good.

How does someone increase mainline operation on a small MPD diorama, do you intend to extend the running lines?
