How many of the allocation were at works for overhaul? How many were on loan? How many were stopped away? And lastly, how many were out at work at any given time of the day?
I’d build one of each class/variant/livery that fits the location and you fancy building and take it from there.

Hi Al
Brassmasters sell lots of useful individual Martin Finney castings for the Bulldog.

...and High Level do a full chassis too.

That's a very nice model of a fabulous aircraft. It will be fascinating to watch the resurrection of the type at 1:1scale over the next few years with the restoration of TT193.

Lovely, lovely model of a supremely elegant locomotive.

That looks really nice Al.
By the way, Tim Venton has further useful information on B-Set modelling options on his Clutton pages.
As for the inner buffers, I changed the heads on MJT wagon buffers for larger GWR coach buffer heads - it's not perfect, but a much better match for the shorties used on some of these coaches.

The steps also have a half etched line in them. I would recommend reinforcing them at the rear before fixing them to the footplate - they are very vulnerable to handling damage otherwise!

Great progress so far! Have you had any thoughts about what to do with the front cab windows? I think it is one of the weakest areas of the Airfix 14xx and with the thickness of the moulded cab roof, not an easy one to address.

That's really nice.

Under the 21 x 9 baseboard, of course!

Hi Tim,
Those Draper stands look very sturdy. Website says they're 580mm wide - is this correct? (Looking to mount a 22inch wide baseboard, so this could be ideal!). Is the height setting very positive, or is just a matter of constantly tweaking?
Best Wishes
