Its Christmas Card writing day, get them in the post tomorrow to ensure they get through the strikes.
So why am I procrastinating by hanging out on RMweb?????
-
Noooo! My ears are getting hairier! Which for someone with my hairstyle is a) annoying, b) ridiculous and c) an unnecessary aspect of maintenance.

YAHHHH it is raining at last, along with a light show.

You have to wonder about the quality of the algorithms used by internet advertisers when someone who achieved notoriety by getting sea-sick aboard a boat that was tied to the bank on the Thames finds himself inundated with adverts for cruises.
-
Just spending my last few hours today as a 40 something, tomorrow I’ll be into the next decade !!!

There’s no question in my mind now that the Class 68 is the most awesome sounding diesel since the Deltics.
-
To buy the expensive second-hand book, or to hope that the publisher does a reprint? The eternal question!
-
Oh no! Radio 3 has gone all 'jazz' again.
-
Never ever buy fuel at a motorway service station. Diesel at most places on the M6 going north today was £1.52.9 and 500 yards off the motorway at Carlisle A7 junction £1.33.9 !!!! Saved £9 by avoiding the sharks....

On September 4th 1818 a committee met in Darlington Town Hall "to consider the propriety of opening up a line of communication from Stockton to the collieries".

Back to the hobby after a 3yr break (not at her majesty's pleasure!) Where to restart, 30s GWR or carry on with the S&D?
-
Certainly there's some lovely 1930s GWR featured on RMWeb, eg http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/120848-little-muddle/
