And that is the frustrating thing (in my opinion). One shell opens the opportunity to create another unit. Also, at present we have the correct shells to produce a 2HAP. If only it was as simple as saying, "Yes lets produce that next year!"

I keep coming across this on ebay. Must be about the fourth or fifth time it's come up. Price has gradually come down to £100 (from £150).
Still available new from Invicta for £74.99!

Look forward to seeing the layout at Lenham!

I'm tempted to get one of the blue/grey ones and pimp it up with NSE branding and renumber it to a 30xx series. According to my 1989 book blue/grey VEPs were still around when some of the 34xx series were produced. Might have to wait and see what the price is though, i'm sure they won't be knocking them out at below £100 like they ended up doing with the blue and NSE versions.

Glad to see 003 coming home. As an 8 year old in '85, I was so excited when I saw it whilst on holiday in the Mendips. A diesel that wasn't blue!

Two thoughts or questions, I wonder why E5001 was not in the batch.
Would E5001 not make sense. It made a few trips on the main line in the early 90's on railtours. It's the only one i'd consider buying. I know I could renumber it but would not want to renumber a premium loco.
A great loco to release Dave, as is the 59. Looking forward to seeing these.

If your garden's on a slope, you might be able to get it for haulage as well.

Looks great! I'm not surprised you're happy with it.

Forgive me father for I have sinned.
This doesn't seem too bad a price from one of our usuals. I'm tempted to buy...

Having seen 50040 when it was in this state, I actually thought this model looked quite good. Maybe that's just me though!

Clever way of selling a layout!

I think that No Nonsense Kits sold the MTK 507\508 but that was some time ago.

I thought it looked quite good. Was tempted to go for it but I don't really need it. I think it went quite cheaply.

Interested to see what this 313/314 goes for - it could go high:

Sarah Siddons did a number of railtours on the SR. Can't find any photos though.
Here are a few shots of L12 with an NSE VEP.

Agreed.
Part of my interest is the fact that it's window arrangement (location of luggage area) is incorrect for a Jaffa CEP.

Intrigued to see what this repainted CEP goes for:

4VEP.
I'll get my coat...

The font does look a little odd to me. I'd quite like 033 to go with my Slim Jim 207 but would like to see some close ups before I fork out near on £100 for it.

I think it's the reincarnation of Waverley Deltic who bought a large chunk of the infamous Ltd Ed Scotrail 158 many years ago...

Intrigued to see what this goes for being half of a limited edition set:
Can't think of a Hybrid use for it (without repainting).
Class 205 in Conjunction with Kernow Model Shop
in Kernow Model Rail Centre

I'd be interested in knowing whether the lighting would all work if one inserts a 4CEP TS between the two 205 coaches. The hardest issue would be sorting out the hopper windows. I'm sure one could plonk a pair of gangways on the 205 easily enough though.
