There's actually an easy way to find out what the high bid (or reserve amount) is. If you put in a bid on this example of say £3,500 it will immediately disclose what the high bid/reserve is, and you can immeditaley withdraw your bid on the pretext of 'finger trouble'.
Some earlier pics seemed to show rather heavy rivet detail on the tender but #659 shows a direct comparison with Hornby Grange which looks ok to me. I guess it's all down to lighting. Am a bit happier than I was few days ago but will prob wait for BR Green in the flesh before I commit.
err it was all tongue in cheek matey. Do we have to put smiley emoticons every time we post something in jest? Horsetan was talking about mazak rot (as i understand it) and 34C merely added to it by saying the legal profession always/often work on precedent (assuming you realise HT works in said field?)
As it's a bit slow on here I'll have another go. Waterford 27May08 and IE220 (out of sight) hauls the last Waterford-Dublin of the day away from Waterford as a couple of liners await action in the yard.
On 01-02April 2006 there was a Chiltern festival with 48151 TnT Leander working 3 roundtrips a day Marylebone-High Wycombe vv seen here at Beaconsfield
Wadhurst 16Jun01 and the Hastings unit was due to do an evening tour which included Folkestone Harbour. NR decreed that 2 power cars weren't enough so an additional one was sourced form a Sandite unit. So a very rare instance of an ADB piece of stock on a passenger train. ADB977940
Easily remedied!

One thing that's always puzzled me about Brunel's broad gauge is the use of 7ft + quarter of an inch.
Is there some tech reason why he didn't just settle for exactly 7 feet?
