Does anyone know what motor was fitted to the Triang big big train Hymek,
Is there any motor available that would easily fit as a replacement,?
Thanks in anticipation, Regards. Keith
Great, I wish to sign up for pasty making school then please. Let us hope that no one in particular sends a message to KMRC claiming the possibilitie that their copyright as been breached. .
While there are local differences the recipe came from pasty land and the maiden name of this particular pasty maker (Mrs Stationmaster) began with the letters 'Tre....' plus they have the seal of approval (having been thoroughly tested) of a member of KMRC's staff. So they'm proper job pasties.
Just a simple question, that I should know the answer to. Is the main green colour on the early livered Hymeks the same shade of green as carried by BR express
steam loco's. ?
Thanks in anticipation, Keith.
Thankyou Clive for those sensible words, that is what I was thinking when I pressed the "funny" button.
There are too maney people on here who are over serious and believe that they are more clever than the average.

Thanks very much both for the replies. The two I was most interested in to model was 70018 and 70022, the two first Brits I distinctly remember seeing when spotting in 1953. Looks like one red and one black then.
Regards, Keith.
Can someone please jog my memory by informing me of the background colour of the nameplates on the Britannia class standard pacifics. The western region loco's if there was any differance.
Thanks in anticipation, Keith.
