  6. Hello Walls, I spent most of my working life as a Vansalesman for sausage, pies and bacon companies. Four years for C&T Harris of Calne, I passed my driving test on one of their Commer Walkthroughs aged 17 having starting with them as a vanboy (they called it being a apprentice vansalesman . . Five years for Spear Bros. and Clark, a local Bristol company, twentyfour years for Robirch (sister company to Millers of Poole), then finished up the remainder of my working years working for Bowyers.   9. None in the large WHS in central Bristol today.! I shall be in Weston-s-Mare tomorrow, Exeter Thursday and Dawlish and Teignmouth on Friday. If nothing at these places, I will give up looking and stop chasing around to spend my money. It is the wrong way around, any business selling items should be chasing the potential customers.   11. Obtained a copy today for 99p at WHS. For 99p it was excellent, but I was not that impressed , well not enough to take out a subscription or to pay full price for future copies, sorry! Keith

  15. I need cabside number transfers for ex LMS 0=6-0 4Fs. Just over a week ago I went into Fox transfers website and they had made up number plates for all of the class. Today I went to order some and found that they had vanished from their website. I searched several times but they were not there, even though all the rest of the classes were still there. Is there any other transfer manufacturer that market ready made up cabside numbers for this class of loco. Keith.

  17. While models of castles are being discussed. Regarding the earlier Hornby and Airfix castles what is the best way to modify the scalloped inside cylinder valve covers so as to represent the later covers ? Regards, Keith

  19. Regarding the early model of 34066 Spitfire. How easy is it to remove the Southern Railway circle on the smoke box door. ? Is it a different body moulding than the other B-O-Bs or was it simply glued on..? Thanks for any information. Keith
