Still keep playing with the 08 runs like a dream the second parcel from hattons was a pack of 8 modern station lamps they are Gaugemaster for 00 but look good for 0 gauge also in the pack you get 4 building lights just need 3 more to finish and then wire them up you can adjust the length of them.

Well it finely arrived Friday had a play today what a nice 08 it is great slow runner motor is so quiet now to start looking for a sound decoder and new numbers had another parcel come today from hattons but you will see what they are tomorrow when fitted. Steve

Hi Simon Think if the track from Maiden Newton to Bridport & Westbay was still here then a real 08 would have got here quicker at least it would not have gone via Truro. Steve

Well was hoping to have my 08 today it left hattons Tuesday but good royal mail just tracked there 2 day delivery it arrived at Truro mail centre at 05.39 today and left at 19.44 I think to my local mail centre which is Dorchester then it has to go to Bridport then I might get it Friday but not hold my breath.think mine might be the most travelled 08 Steve

Was hoping to have mine today but good old Royal mail it left hattons Tuesday just tracked it and it's doing the tour of England it left Truro this morning to the local mail centre and i live in Dorset a few miles to Dorchester

Well it's been an expensive day did not really need a new point if i looked properly when I put the new point in the same position it still did not work when looking with glasses on when i cut the track it left a burr not filed the end when the track expanded it was touching and shorting now all working painted & ballasted,happy now plus a trip next door to apologise for the foreign language. Steve

Hi John I lost power on the right exit off the point I thought it was the fishplates on the blades not tight enough but they was ok then bridged that but still no power. Steve

Engineering works this weekend at Spenford Road point failure so new point going in, so today it was a trip to peco then went to Thorncombe show great show then home and lifted the point new one in tomorrow.

A small update not much done went to Weymouth show today good selection of layouts brought a new mini drill set got some more wire and a couple of tree's put those in when I got home and tested the mini drill with cutting disk brill. Steve

Hi The cassettes have worked out ok there is a tiny bit of flex in the guttering that's with a 31 and 2 BGS but does not affect the overall performance of them cheap to make.Today i have finely got trains running from station to cassettes but not without problems the only point i have as decided too lose all power through the track i have cleaned the blades I have power upto the blades but nothing behind so it might have to be replaced then the 108 stopped but that could be one of the wires come adrift as only loose fitted ready to have sound chip put in yesterday I went Taunton show only brought 2 packs of people sitting and standing so 2 have been repainted to drive the 31 still need to get some more track to finish the cassettes and a new point that's about it for today cook dinner now for when the wife comes home from work. Made a start on the cassettes for the fiddle yard but ran out of track so could only do 3 just letting the glue cure now they are quite sturdy put one gutter end on but it gets in the way so it's coming off and I will find another method to stop stock falling of the end.
