Hi Graham I should be there hopefully just some Questions 1. will there be layouts there ? 2. will the brown sauce be HP ? 3. will the eggs be from chickens and what colour chickens did they come from ? 4. will the bacon come from pigs ? 5. can you sweep the lanes last year i did not know if i was in a field chasing foxes with the hunt or on a rally, car needed cleaning think thats it for now look forward to your comment keep it clean its a family show.

  9. Managed to get a couple of hours on the layout weathered the 08 looks alright I think wanted to get that working clay dust and not being washed.
  10. Well back to work tomorrow having last week off plus having a great day last Tuesday with family celebrating being 60. I managed to wire the Pecos smartswitch in set them up and all working good I also renumbered the 31 and weathered it and a VAA wagon then ran out of paint so that's it for now.
  11. I agree Peco are over priced but our local model shop did not have the motors i wanted i did not want to wait a few days for some to come in the post and Peco is just around the coast from me.

Another long delay in doing anything on the layout due to hot weather it was knocking me for six now its cooled down and i have this week off i been doing stuff on the layout i got one of them smartswitch point control so monday i started on it come to connect it no plug in the box for dc so rang peco picked one up Wednesday wires it in nothing worked tryed everything so rang peco again to be told to bring it back for replacement so today went back to peco before i left had to have another one because they was a button missing of the programing box so that was two new ones before left i did say to them see you tomorrow, got home wired it up to my amazement it all worked they are good but a bit pricey more update later.   15. Hi Jim Thanks for your comment,its time to start slowing down a bit instead of wanting everything yesterday, don't know what was wrong with the DMUs i just rewired and all worked could off been dry joins somewhere keep running them on rolling road good to be back more updates latter. Steve

It's been a while since I did anything on the layout plus recovering from my angina attack no damage to the heart which is a good thing so yet more tablets still off work got to wait for DVLA to give me the all clear to drive buses again,today I managed to get my 108 running I rewired it and it ran first time it's sounds a bit rough but a bit more running on the rolling road and lubrication it should be ok happy now will have a go with the 121 tomorrow then do a bit more to the scenery 33 motor & sound decoder & 31 sound decoder will have to wait a bit longer sick pay is a bit of a joke.   18. Tuesday I had a angina attack took to hospital, yesterday i had a angiogram lucky no damage to the heart now been released recovering at home now wife's bit strict can't do this can't do that ,it has it's bonus cannot use me right hand for 24hrs?

When I first joined the Guild I had the impression it was for all 0 gauge modellers steam or diesel but soon realised if I modelled steam I fitted in diesel not it seemed like I was joining the masons so I did not renew my membership if you don't want non members to come then advertise it as members only like I said in my other post I will not be going to any others.t-b-g the comment you put it's the in thing if you can do better you do it childish comes to mind all it needs is the Guild to wake up things have changed there is younger people doing 0 gauge and not everyone likes steam.onto the weather it was predicted to be bad all other Exhibitions cancelled so no excuse you put other people's lives at risk just for the Guild can have half day.
