Hi Andy, The shed looks lovely! What a great place to spend many pleasant hours this, and coming, winters (springs, summers and autumns) Regards, Stefan
  3. I like reading old railway mags and one thing strikes me; model photos and adverts for 00 models showed pretty nice wheels in the 30's and 40's and then the horrible wheels turned up in the 50's. I blame the trainsets. I might be wrong but that's my impression.
  4. Wel, well, well! The book found it's way to my mailbox today. Miracles do happen, I guess? Not sure I want to experience a repeat from this seller though.
  5. Was very excited when I purchased this book. Paid on Aug 7th and nothing happened. PM'd the seller on Aug 28th, who replied on the 29th with an apology and a promise of a replacement and nothing happened. Sent him another PM the day before yesterday, recieved a prompt reply where he assured me delivery shortly. Will wait another week or so before hiting him with a negative feedback, Unfortunatly the behaviour from the seller appears systematic and I should have looked at his feedback scores before buying, but got carried away when it seemed to be such a good deal. I guess it will still be (sort of) a good deal if the book turns up next week? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301270804474?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  6. Please don't stop now! You can't please everybody all of the time, it's just the way it goes. Most of us, me included, experience negative comments from time to time. Shake it off and do your thing. Regards, Stefan
  7. 'The Caledonian Dunalastairs' by O.S. Nock, 99p and £3,54 postage.
  8. I'm not sure there's a thread for this particular King, it makes the GBL-models look very fine indeed. Regards, Stefan
  9. Me and the wife collected a bucket of plums. Sweet and juicy.

We put old sheets around our tree and just shook it. Ended up giving half of them away - far too many for us to eat.

  10. The pics make me think of Fritz Lang's Metropolis. They don't look like that either. Regards, Stefan
