Anyway it was still stabled on platform 2 yesterday but someone had moved it further down the platform so I managed to get a photo of the other side from the road.

Haven’t been on here for ages to post anything as it has been quiet on the modelling front …. No doubt that will change shortly as I still have lots to do …. Anyway on my way home today this was parked up at Milton Keynes, not sure why but it was worth a quick picture as she was nice and clean.
  4. Great video Neal and it's nice to see that it has finally arrived and operational. Even the driver of the Grange was in such a hurry to get on the turntable that he failed to obey the home signal on video 2 at 2:09 Glad it's worked out after all this time.
  5. Certainly looks the part Paul.......
  6. Andy, I also like plan B and I agree with Jack97m but I would put a out of use single end siding with track lifted here and there in addition where you have the through sidings..... just a thought
  7. Neal I feel for you........ It's hard but stay positive.. By the time UPS sort out the issues I think diesel locomotives will become the norm so you won't need a turntable
  8. 47583 was repainted in honour of the forthcoming wedding but it was a very short lived livery and I do believe that this was in July 1981. Here is my version of it in O Gauge
  9. Just think running two different eras means twice as much fun ...... Happy New Year Andy
  10. That looks nice with lots of scope ......... best I'll polish off my Class 20 - 33 diesels
  11. Looks like you have done a grand job ..... looks very nice
  12. Great video...... Andy I think I've seen that film or am I mistaking it for an adult film?
  13. Neal, I feel for you, as I said in my previous post I had to wait 5-6 months before I received my turntable after being fobbed off I just wrote to him stating that I am giving him 14 days before starting a small claims via the courts. All of a sudden he sprung into life and I received the turntable within days including the tracking number. I hope you get yours soon.
  14. All of the Heljan loco's (mark I) you have mentioned suffer from issues, mainly split gears over a period of time (not sure of the Class 56 & 60) as I have had to replace them over the years but once replaced with a set of brass ones then these loco's run superbly and will give you a great performance for many years to come. I have dabbled in many gauges but have seriously settled on 7mm as they are easy to maintain and look the bee's knee's also they seem to be a lot more robust than "OO" IMHO but all I would say if you buy a Heljan and providing if it is not going to be lifted on and off a layout every day then I would use some glue to fit the buffer beam pipes accessories and other bits and bobs on the loco but that's my opinion. Great looking loco's and they will pull anything..... I hope this helps.
  15. Peter If you can make up the plastic inserts for the wagons then this shop may be able to assist with the loads https://eezyloads.co.uk
  16. Good luck but I'm wondering on what the odds are...................................................
  17. I waited 5-6 months for my delivery, although it was promised in 4 weeks. Eventually received the item, sadly with a few issues but was rectified when pressed and given a final ultimatum...... also I must add that many of us were in "lockdown" so we all had time on our hands and wanted our goods immediately. I do believe Mike needs to prioritise and fulfil agreed orders before committing to others but some companies may need the income in the hope to catch up with the issues of the past two years....... No excuse mind you..... but IMHO I believe "it's needs to be quality not quantity" and that goes with customer service......
  18. Cameron It is looking good, I suppose when you can't get on Al's garden layout due to weather restrictions you two can use this one to shunt around. Jim
  19. Looks good Paul ...... Paint job is first class, what varnish do you use?
  20. Hold on chaps ...... He has a plan..... We are heading into N Gauge land
  21. Finally slowing down at last !!!!!!!!!!
