  1. That certainly looks rotten ..... great example
  2. You would have thought that they would have removed the nameplate........ It'll probably end up on ebay.
  3. Morning Andi The Class 45 were originally numbered as D11 - D137 and latter to 45001 - 45077 & 45101 - 150. As for 1500 this was a Class 47
  4. Morning David C15433 is actually 156481...... I had to look twice at the photos as it got given another carriage Regards
  5. Yes... certainly interested at the end result Good luck
  6. That looks like a great idea, somewhere to keep the single car DMU's in a siding of their own..... I do like the rock face on the left, very realistic 👍
  7. Have a great free running two weekends.....😃
  8. Seems to have come on quite a long way....... glad to see the updates coming through
  9. Andrew What a great video..... I just watch the whole lot, 30 minutes well spent. Do you have a track plan of the layout that you can post on here?
  10. Good to see that you are on the mend Paul 👍🦵
  11. Lee Loco looks superb, is that the diorama that Simon recently made? It really shows off the loco in another dimension although I did like when you photo'd them outside on the wall.
  12. The only ones I've ever seen was done by a chap called Lee and you may be able to contact him by his website http://www.leeslocos.co.uk/0_gauge.html
  13. David The shot of 55013 is great but whats happening with the cars offside wheels / tyres?
  14. I believe the ICI wagons were en route from Tunstead to Northwich with limestone and the Class 25 was leaving the Stockport line heading EB. I use to spend quite a bit of time in the early 80's at Guide Bridge, always something interesting passing through.
  15. Mr Ray, this looks very good, especially the lever frame and the platform, I just need to see if a class 40 passes the platform 😀 Glad to see that you have started the terrain by the station, it looks great... will there be a small wall and then a hill up to the LR?
  16. Paul Being a railway operator myself, I am still waiting for the senior team to say thanks for everything that we achieved after nearly 2 1/2 years of the pandemic ..... probably they are still working from home... Anyway, at least you got doughnut's, where's mine?
  17. Jeff I fully understand what you have written..... It is demoralising when you spend hours, days etc modelling and then everyone hits a "button" whether it's the "like, craftmanship etc button". I do believe when someone responds either with a short or a long sentence / passage, to us about our achievements, it feels like you / me have created a great achievement because other modellers appreciate what we have done / achieved. Andy Peters of this website seems to have created a great rapport with other modellers as he explains his achievements / failures, change of direction, another new layout and he also responses to everyone, I just wish we all have the time. Bottom line Jeff, please don't get dishearten, we, especially me, love your thread and your passion for this hobby and the modelling is outstanding. Jim
  18. Jeff Like others I was just going to press the "like button" and I do agree with you it is demoralising especially with all the effort that you are putting into to the modelling scheme. Your's and the majority of the modelling on this website deserves a few words from the individual rather than push the "like" button but sadly this is the way the world seems to be going, "the art of conversation seems to have died, many years ago". I also would like to see some of the icons disappear but I don't think this will alter the current situation as people will only read the thread and move on to the next one .... This is just my opinion and I may be wrong so please don't shoot me but I am also guilty of ticking the "like" button.... I do envy what you have achieved and I love this thread, very inspirational.
