That 94xx image makes me suspect the hand of Dave Sharp (Modern Outline) somewhere in this! Dunno why, but I do.
Just Like The Real Thing are currently developing a 94XX kit.

Is that Brunel rail?
It does indeed look like bridge rail to me.
-
I'm not sure about motely crew but certainly a knowledgeable crew.
Not enough hairspray for Motley Crue!

That looks like a very handy piece of kit.
Would you be able to provide more information about where these can be obtained from?

New Steam locomotive kit being announced very soon.
A totally new style of kit following on from the very popular diesel range employing the same construction methods.
That's very interesting news. If the chassis was resin like their 08 it would make getting a rolling chassis much easier.

Available in three liveries - Black, Lined Green and Lined Red (flyer doesn't quote the shade of green or red)
.....but will have a Welsh/GWR following.
Well it might if it were being produced in GWR green.

Kerr Stuart Victory 0-6-0T.
Thanks for putting us out of our misery Mike.
Looks like I will be buying myself a second Lionheart 7400 after all.

Presumably everyone at Kettering is in shock.

So what is it?
This is worse than xmas!

Rolling Stones- on tour again I believe. Do they need another guitarist?
Allan is too young to be in The Stones!

"The Finney7 Partnership"
Interesting.
You're not finally planning on making the jump to 7mm are you Horse?
-
Must say that 'B' Set looks superb. If only Lionheart would replicate it in 00...
It would be far easier to change to O gauge

My personal preference is to use Halfords grey primer as base colour for carriage and wagon roofs. Then to apply washes of darker grey and blacks, with some weathering powders, until the required level of filth is achieved.
I find this method helps to stop them all looking too uniform.

How about a panicked priest and a pile of cardboard boxes?

Paul,
The Wikipedia GWR 0-4-0ST page here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GWR_0-4-0ST suggests that SHT no12 became GWR 968.

You should certainly buy yourself a Fowler..... But be aware, the Heljan 37's can scrub up very nicely too!
Indeed they do. But it is the last of my BR period stock, and is just languishing in the display case.
A Fowler would actually get run on Inglebourne.
-
I really am going to have to stop procrastinating and buy myself a Fowler.
Anybody want to buy a green Heljan 37?
-
That does look truely exquisite.

I do so hope Dapol announce a new loco soon,
I should imagine that the 08 is probably Dapol's priority with regards to O gauge at the moment. And given how many years their foray into the 7mm loco market has taken, I wouldn't expect any announcements until any possible future projects are well under way.
