  1. The Bernina line has tighter curvature than other RhB lines, hence the shorter stock, but these coaches could turn up pretty much anywhere on the network, singly or in pairs.
  2. Really impressive too date and the station area track work looks spot on. I've a book somewhere with the track plans of all RhB stations. If you wish i candig it out and send you the details. Signalling on the RhB is also much simpler than with many other operater. Looking forward to watching it develop and then seeing in the flesh.
  3. When Stagecoach began the SWT franchise were any early emus inherited? If so I have a few questions. Which class (es) were involved? When did they cease operational duties? How were they branded?
  4. Has anyone had sound and/or weathering done when ordering through Arcadia?
  5. Are there plans to sell the Mk5s through the model retail trade?
  6. Apologies, I did indeed mean sound files.
  7. Does anyone know if any of the retailers have files for a class 466 Networker EMU?
  8. Thanks for the replies. I'd be very interested in the outcome from your efforts to close the gap. I'm afraid it's one of my dislikes to see wide spaces between vehicles.
  9. I'm thinking of getting a 101 and have a couple of questions. Are the units close coupled and if so will they handle 2nd radius curve, which I have leading into my fiddle yard? Can anyone advise the difference between ESU select sound and Olivias (or others) ESU V5 sound? Thanks
  10. I have had both Piko & Roco versions. The Piko ones sat very slightly higher, which wasn't a problem as they were never 'on set' together. Roco offer the old version (as pictured) on the driving trailer, though that may be through eBay, Contikits or show traders. The standard and the newer Wittenberge Steuerwagen are also available. I've only seen Piko ones with the standard Silberlinge. On both brands I was able to use close couplings.
  11. I'm struggling to find platform canopies for my layout based in Scotland in the 80s. I'd prefer a ready to plant product if there is a suitable one, though I'm not sure I've seen it if it exists. Any suggestions appreciated
  12. No, I haven't tried that. I'll give it a go and see, cheers

  14. On DCC and yes its being pushed/pulled by a loco. Can't understand it.
  15. I'm having a problem with the lighting on my DBSOs, as both only show headlights irrespective of the direction of travel. Any thought please?
  16. Did anyone get a photo of the HST ScotRail Inter7City power cars as they headed through Derbyshire this morning? I just missed getting my own picture.
  17. Did 37012 retain headlights after its plates were removed for the 37/4?
  18. Nameplates removed and with headlights on the photo. I'd prefer the unnamed version.
  19. Looks interesting to me, personally I'm pleased there isn't too much new tooling. it will give Bachmann chance to catch up on previously announced models. I wonder if 37012 will carry the Eastfield white stripe.
