  2. A few photos of the next two boards I will post some frontal shots tommorrow once we move it away from the wall. Marc
  3. Parliamentary Trains is were you should be looking. www.parlytrains.co.uk Marc
  4. Maryport and Carlisle and the LNWR (West Cumberland District) used Coal hoppers and discharge cells. Also some Furness Stations had discharge cells this was because the coal supply came from the North Eastern. Marc
  5. Progerss on board 3 is well on the way. Hand made track mmm. Not sure I would use the slaters method again. Tommorow its C&L, should be a little easier, but time will tell. Board 4 will have pain peco all should be finished by saturday. Marc
  6. That is value for money in anyone's book. Marc
  7. If you want some GER wagons we could do those for you. you would need to buy 10 of each type and then we pick up the cost of developing the kit. Marc
  8. We do a a 4plk open with raised ends that would fit in with what you are looking for its got either a Weardale or East Wallbottle Col livery. We are working on some 4mm wagons as we speak. first of the rank NER P5 hopper and NER R2/3/4 coke hopper, with LYR 7plk, LYR 1plk NER S1 hopper and SECR/LBSCR 7plk to follow . All have been commissioned. Marc
  9. That would be telling. All I can say is quote "wine1" for a free gift with all purchases over £1000. Marc
  10. Without wanting to blow my own trumpet you could try wine of our wagons as they have interior detail as standard no need to fit any extra parts. Marc
  11. The Bath MR/SDJR shed woud score 3 out of 4 in BR days Marc
  12. Depending on when you set the build date and location of the shed you could make some of the buildings removable and you could change the period of the layout depending on what you wanted to run. You need to move away from this GWR stuff. it will only end up in tears. If its a green thing then there are other shades out there that could be of interest. NER, LSWR, Highland, GNR, GCR I name but a few. Marc
  13. Just a few shots taken at the Furness Model Railway Show this weekend. Marc
  14. I like Rowe wagons. I always link the name Rowe with Pasties, having lived in Camborne. Business diversification? I actually think that there were more NER wagons than ones from northwest Devon and Cornwall. The NER wagon registers are a little light so people always said that there were none but if you look at the H&BR, NBR, GCR and LYR registers there are a fair number of wagons based in NER region. Marc
  15. A bit late for you, Pete, isn't it? post 1905 mmmm Marc
  16. Our LSWR coaches were the ones bought by the col for a number of his light railways KESR, PD&SWR and Selsea tram just being 3. We have a new website www.pregroupingrailways.com it's abut of a work in progress Marc
  17. NER coaches will be out at Reading All 3rd, brake 3rd, Lug 3rd, Lug Comp and Lav Comp all 32ft6 6 wheelers Marc
  18. Our coach kits for next year are LBSCR and GER. Marc
  19. LBSCR coaches are being design as we speak. We will be offering them as kits or RTR on demand. We found out resently that we do have two already in our coach range a 1870's all 3rd and a 1880's all 1st. So we will be adding another all 3rd, a comp and a brake 3rd. I addition to this our LBSCR range will have a goods brake van and a 6 plank open added to it this year. Also we have been commissioned to produce a LBSCR/LSWR joint railcar. Again these will all be available as either kits or RTR to order. Marc
  20. Peter, Just going through the 4/6 coach book vol.1 and came across 2 coaches that look, at first glance, to be identical to those we already do. 1, outside framed all 3rd dia 6F page 98 (Wright and son/Metropolitan carriage and wagon) 2, 28ft all first dia D56 page 170 (LSWR 1st/2nd comp or all1st) Also what colour would these be painted. Also "Brighton" should arrive tomorrow that make 2 A1's in pre 1905 livery
  21. That's some 18 year olds there are still a few out there who would storm a beach. even if some in society would be concerned that one of them would brake a finger nail. Health and safety on the battle field is a grave concern. You could have someone's eye out with that bullet and I think we should use rubber bayonets because they might hurt someone. Marc
