  1. Nay and thrice nay, it's an old railroad bridge, track bed made into footpath, for access to the new condos built in the old mill buildings!!! (see revised track plan above)
  2. Both end of the new extension, are done, VIP factory needs detailing and a light weathering, next the large mill building which has been made into condos, this sit on either side of the stone bridge and runs 30" down the back.

  4. First are frogs 1 and 2 on photo powered via a switch/point motor etc, i see you've bonded the rails on both points?. if so, do away with the track feeds on that small piece of track, add metal fishplate as shown, add temporary feeds where shown and test
  5. Think it would be helpful to us all, if you showed us how you've wired these points, all feeds, why have, what looks like feeds on that small piece of track?

  8. good progress over the last couple of days, boards built, track down and wired, point control in, lights added and just painted the track today.

  10. Well, in these interesting times i've had time to think what's going to happen to the layout, had a couple of offer's to buy, one from the states!, but have finally decided to keep it. The plan is, it will move up into my loft and stand on 30" legs (though still be available for exhibitions, if we get back to the norm) then i'm going to build a small holding yard, and a offstage fiddle yard(interchange), plans are at an advanced stage, timber bought, going to use what's left of my code 75 points and track, so on with my winter project. Will update when there's something done.

Was looking at Ellis clark the other day, some top heavy prices IMO.

  18. Been playing with the C425, i'd forgot i had a problem with the chip and sent it back,it came back with update chip with drive hold of f9, it works a treat,just need to move the function to f6, f9 is bit of a fiddle on lenz,

  21. can't do much about the sound, this ESU decoder doesn't have coast available, it is an Alco and they chugg in tick over
