    A great lovely 32c today and then this afternoon a violent 13 minute thunder/lightening storm. 4 hrs later sudden frequent power cuts and quick ride about has a swarm of national grid folk about lol

    Has decided with the cold weather to seek all brass balls that may fall off and trade them in for scrap value

      It's not the balls that were brass, it's the monkeys! A "brass monkey" is a rack used for storing cannonballs. When the rack freezes, it contracts faster than the cannonballs do and squeezes them out!
