  3. household 2 & 3 core comes in handy for many things depending on voltage requirements of course and well suited for this keeping it tidy etc, The logger has come out great I say looking the biz quick and simple.
  4. text pic I got today...... more like hit the shutdown button
  5. Thanks for the hints & tips there Mick and Jaz personally CL 82`s should have been bac2back like the CL 43`s, not the sharp/blunt formations they ran in as I call them. erm No in short mick as not read J`az`s AV thread yet, so expect she`ll sharpening her claws on me soon he he gulp
  6. I bow too your patience in dealing with all them small fiddly bits, as would drive me crackers ( more then I already am haha ) answering your layout question, simple answer is no as ton of layouts designed for different space sizes, but no space to build any. but rmweb helps with ideas like your weathering build tips for when space does become available to build it.
  7. Bungle & Zippy - rainbow far easier then saying grey - grey/grey or grey/grey/grey
  8. great handrail correction on the RHTT and notice in post #806 1st pic is that a log you showed before or another completed one Nick. enjoy doing your RHTT`s Tase.
  9. I never even noticed that till I saw your post and looked back, it will the GBRF 66721 with the London Tube map representation. Think it was 66718 that was black had London taxi`s and writing on etc.
  10. What big difference in the track Jim with the sleepers put in and the dip taken out, which shows in the smooth running in the vid. Excellent idea with the disused tunnel area which I like to see on layout and something not many do.
  11. Bet you had a great time at car fest and at least you got a few bits done on the RHTT`s , always good when small bits are added and transforms it with the more to life look etc.
  12. Hows the colas locos and logs getting on Mick plus rest of your 6 million projects on the go. ( really don't know how you do it - 40 hr day ? ) Will delete if you want Mick if don't apply..... The interesting thing I find about graffiti is when someone is portraying a loco/coach/wagon of a set time that has some on, It has how they go about representing it by hand draw/paint or printout transfer to attain the real life item and shows some real craftsmanship in their build/detailing.
  13. I can see a large yard brush would be good weathering something that's static all the time, where as bomb would give a wind swept effect of movement. although sprouts will give a smaller wind swept effect and less likely to blow your stock of the rails or desk and damage them like a bomb would. I may try this theory out - NOT.
  14. Which Jim`s pictures are a great invaluable source for track / trackside information we cant get even with telephoto lenses.
  15. one thinks ooo great big project and follow with interest how the base is built and takes shape, the track starts getting laid and the massive size begins to come in to play. The picture of board B on its side and all I thought holy cow that's massive and what neat wiring. luckily managed to pop eyes back in and jaw off floor with no damage Mint craftwork by all involved.
  16. Leeds station still had a few about but haven't really noticed last few times ive been there in last 12 month, so will check next time im down there and take pic if any still exist.
  17. Good acronym just wrong way to come up with it...... plus I take you didn't get the latest H & S memo about using such devices only we sat on floor ? to save oneself from falling off/up or down things for possible injury. If not SUE em

  20. So the above would allow a green BR green 37 to run fine on Ditd renamed " Sprout Express " or " Gone with the wind " These day`s of slogans on the side it would be " Natural gas powered " enviro green lobby approved !! Has the signal box been fixed on yet so it cant refuse to go to shows
