  1. Any Dishonored (sp) fans? Looks like the Vice Overseerer of Karnaca wants to be mayor of Birmingham.
  2. Just found something today. I am building a small WR branch as one of my small projects and I have worked out I need multiple 45xx panniers. I bought a Bachmann one about 5 years ago (I think) so thought lets check the online shops. Nothing new and silly SH prices. Hmm kits, can't find anything apart from chassis. It is now getting difficult to get things at the time you realise you want them. This branch Locos two common types, one is NLA (45xx) one I have enough (NBL 22) Carriages in pictures seen of the area, late GWR 60 something foot non corridors (Mousa sides used) - kitbased, late B sets (Comet), possibly some Airfix style but unsure. 1 Sunshine (Comet) BR 64ft Suburbans (Comet). Wagons are also raid the pickings from Parkside, ration and Airfix, and find some still missing. My other old area project, may move station as I am building a DMU seen in the area in the 50s and an ex MR 2P in same area.
  3. No idea, just thinking what ran on WR. Why do you want some sides?
  4. Getting itchy, wondering what to do next DMU wise.
  5. One thing on interest, I find occasionally a window cut has knicks on it, corners not quite right. Made of top left right bottom and the two bottom corners. How do I smooth these out to stop knicks? Big window on a standard 4 small window over 1 large one.
  6. I have had step out on to road in front of me, sore arm from my mirror. I could NOT miss, that close. (I was doing 15 they stepped out by the front of my bonnet.) I have had walk into the side of me , just stepped out and walked into the passenger door. I have had kid ride bike into side of car, low speed, playing on sttep road.
  7. I am going to send one to Duncansby Head and another to Lands End From XKCD
  8. Triang may be old but it is the right shape so easy to detail. I have a rather nice Triang RMB with Commonweaths and flush glazing, resin gas boxes and air brake gear.
  9. I missed the white line, does look a bit wide nearly 2 inches working from wheel size.
  10. I thought the green was a reproduction issue, windows do not look right, did not notice the lip and often the sole bars are so dirty livery is unsure.
  11. 1 - the couplings - only a screw coupling no buckeye 2 - periscopes removed by blue era 3 - brakes - cylinders and Vs wrong type for late build Mark 1s, see this wiki image 4 - glazing is heavy handed Body and bogies don't match the vac gear
  12. So what don't you like? Apart from the vacuum cylinders are more suitable for earlier mark 1s with no window frames and built with BR1s? The periscopes?
  13. I re kon over my life over a year there. Done up to 5 weeks a year when young
  14. Hmm chimneys and domes and stuff, will investigate more
  15. How about tender wheels please? 4842 for bogie 4884 for loco Thanks Martin
  16. Got a tender now, next order will be Gibson wheels and Comet chassis.
  17. Ordered some 33m rod for lights, and 1.5x0.8 strip for footboards. Drawn up the destination boxes to cut later.
  18. Tender has arrived! John does know he gets the ocasional issue.
  19. Easy Trix suitable for IC 119 120 123 124 126 Not IC, nor 119/120, looks a bit weird, checked 1 photo, TP power car Trans Pennine Driving Motor
  20. What a nice looking kit and as a fan of cement wagon rather annoyed it is not suitable for my area being almost all CPV and PCV hoppers
  21. Depends where you are modelling. Hornby model was everywhere The Bachmann as above is not the refurbished version
