I am pleasantly surprised. Good job Hattons.

Brilliant thank you. I plan to pick up one of their coaches and brake wagon next month after getting hold of two LMR J94's.
-
With the introduction of the LMR Mk1 and Brake Wagon are there any further plans for LMR related rolling stock/motive power in the future?
-
Another industrial loco would be nice like a Thomas Hill Steelman (Army or Defence Logistics) or an 0-8-0 Sentinel. However my guess will be a wagon. I'd love some LMR Birdcage/van wides personally.

I hope Hornby consider some of the 0-6-0 and 0-8-0 incarnations.

Have just managed to get my hands on two Hornby LMR J94's, hope to put a LMR inspired layout together. -
Sorry for lack of updates. Got 2x 70's era, and 2x 90's era Warwells for now. I did want some 2000's but as they have more than just differences in paintjob i'll likely wait for a more accurate kit. As an aside, managed to get hold of some LMR J94's for another future project.

Minor update, removed the doors of the Romney as they looked too bulky. Might replace it with a "roller" door instead. Will also repaint to a nice OD and weather it. Also acquired a Mk1 Brake in olive to put in a siding, as i've seen similar in the MR Military issue.

WIP on a Romney hut. Basic but much still to do. It will be intergrated into the backscene to give false perspective. That particular spur I will use locos, and the one next to it for "internal" wagon storage. The other two spurs seen further up will be used for wagon vehicle loading.

Good Afternoon, After a fair while searching in a variety of places I was wondering if there was a retailers that produces decals suitable for Army/MOD internal rolling stock (VEA's/Stores Coaches) et al. I've found a few generic style decals from real-tek and fox that would do at a push but was hoping their may be something more suitable out there.

Picture of my growing tractive fleet. As for the military layout corner itself, the next few projects will be: - Loading ramp to the side of one of the track spurs so vehicles can embark/disbark. Styled similar to this Primarily as a ramp at the buffer end would take up too much space at the railhead. - Installing a workshop for a single track and vehicle access. Found an old card kit that will do as I was unable to find any suitable Romney/Nissen designs out there. - New security hut, to compliment one I have from the V1 layout. - Carparking adjacent to main gate.

I am geuinely suprised the MK has been neglected as subject matter for so long. Apart from the old JB/Airfix kit there hasn't been an RTR in 1/76 I can think of.

Still patiently waiting for an Army DAF / MAN HX/SX, Oxford seem to modelling every other military/civil truck known to man.

Simpy incredible. -

If WBF made RTR I would be all over their stuff like a shot. I am not a kit builder, i'd ruin them.

Have painted up a VAA and a VDA in MOD colours in last day or so.
