  1. Keep going! It's an absolute masterpiece
  2. You've probably covered this before, but how have you made the decorative pointy canopy thingies? (I really should know the word for this, but it's left my brain and won't come back)
  3. I'm simply in awe of this scenic work!
  4. I agree. The walls are absolutely superb. If you have the time, it's more than worth the effort. Top notch indeed!
  5. I'll echo what Andy said there - superb work and even more so for the fact they're scratch-built!
  6. This is a masterpiece in the making. Absolutely lovely work Adrian!
  7. I just think it looks like a massive sandpit
  8. Very handy, that - building the real thing using a model as the inspiration Excellent!
  9. Those Night time shots really do look amazing. I was very impressed with the LED strips. Took a bit of rescue work, but they're properly looking the part there. My work aside, those rail shots looking into the tunnel are very hard to distinguish from the real thing!
  10. I've got a Class 31 in BR green. I so desperately want to respray it blue now! Great work on the station building
  11. It looks spectacularly good. Just love those hipped roofs!
  12. Without doubt, and without question, simply one of the best layouts I've ever seen. To say that it's N Gauge too, it just simply jaw-dropping. As a kid, I was obsessed with WW2 models - tanks, infantry etc. This is just simply stunning. I love absolutely everything about it. It's also good to see a fellow pvc board modeller - I too have an endless "free" supply *taps nose*
  13. I think I detect a curtain in the background - wait for good natural light, get the camera down low and at a more 3/4 view angle of the building (so we can see the doorway) and turn the flash off
  14. I'm satisfying my modelling craving by building a modest detached cottage...
  15. I still dream of building a similar fell in my garage *sigh* First I've got to clear out a path to the layout and then remove all the non-railway related detritus that's piled on top of it...
  16. Looking really good that Al - I love watching how your buildings are constructed and slowly come to life As for my pic, I only meant that I didn't want to hi-jack your thread Rear porch extension, eh? Now there's an idea. Yes - It's my usual hand-scribed stonework on pvc foamex. It's not for anything particular other than my own pleasure. I'd fallen out of love with modelling just recently, but your builds have inspired me. That and the fact that it's completely dead at work at the moment... It's come to a halt now though because I need some filler for a couple of dodgy corner joints *edit* Update - I have filler!
  17. Just a teaser, Al... Let me know if you want me to take it off here...
  18. If It was me, I'd have nailed another section of board on, just to accommodate the building
  19. No not yet - I'm still building (but photographing as I go...)
  20. Looking good Al Your recent building has inspired me to build a detached cottage...
