I have this one on pre order DCC Fitted from Hattons .... just a few weeks to wait

I just pre ordered dcc fitted valiant as i really do like the scotrail livery. .... so that will be 3 class 68's ... i really must clear my layout so i can actually run the odd loco round

I know I have pull this thread off topic ( Sorry ) but my final stupid question ... were do we get the right size and colour numbers from for loco's and even coaches .... I have 6 or 7 HST's with full coach rakes that I had always thought that I would re number and letter at some point

Well done ... re-numbering is something I would like to have a go at but I have no confidence really that I wouldn't completely cock it up ... I have a few locos that I need to renumber but just parked it indefinitely ...

Im being a bit thick here sorry ... so can i just confirm that the ONLY way to get the lightsto operate as they should is to rewire the loco ? This can not be done with CV mapping on a six function decoder ?

Oh pre order time ... Pre order done ... good to see the price for this twin pack is very competitive compared to some of the recent Bachmann releases.

I am hoping the next run is of different drs locos .... this would be a nice one to add to the fleet

I called to order one over a week ago as i wanted them to confirm if they also had the same printing issue and they told me they did and were waiting for a response from Dapol,I called again yesterday and was told I would get an email response as the lady who is dealing with it was out of the office yesterday. I can't see the DRS limited edition versions being any different to the main order to be honest.

People are removing the wonky plates without any issues so this should not be a reason not to have the loco IMO.

Picked up my 68005 from the post office this morning and i can report NO wonky plates or obvious glue marks and to be completely honest you don't really notice the miss print at all unless you really look at it. What i will say is this is a fantastic loco the detailing is excellent i haven't run it in yet ill do that tonight ... just waiting for my sound fitted 68002 to arrive from DC-Kits. If Dapol do a new run of this loco with different numbers i will definitely purchase a few more in this livery as it is the most impressive paint job on a model loco i have seen so far. Photo of mine ... more than happy with it.

I think Rails have relisted under a higher price and Hatton's have ran out of DCC ready stock .... As far as I know Dapol are waiting for dcc chips and sound chips to install that's why they have not been sent out yet.
