  1. The sample has the same rivets as the picture, you've found a good prototype.
  2. If I was looking for something to tempt me into O gauge with a modest Colonel Stephens approach then this locomotive would fit the bill. I don't know how many rivets it should have but it looks a very good approximation of a Terrier and would be at home with a few wagons or a single coach on some slightly overground track.
  3. It has rivets, I do hope they are the correct shape. Does look nice, I'd like to be tempted but I don't think it would go down well in the household.
  4. The one at Huddersfield was used as a buffet wasn't it?
  5. Some very nice images, as you say even the modern railway can still throw up interesting locations to watch trains.
  6. You know Jim, you and your veranda get about quite a bit. If you drive for Virgin or one of the passenger TOCs you spend your days doing the same ol, same ol, but you seem to offer up new experiences every week. Variety is the spice of life and you appear to have it by the bucketload, I know every job has it's downsides but you look to have a very satisfying job. Back to my spreadsheet in the office without a view....
  7. I joined the NGS at York, will I receive the latest copy of NGS Journal or the next one?
  8. Only one word for the likes of him T*sser. Well actually there are several, but that's what came to mind first.
  9. Will the uk spec/designed pcb also be produced here?
  10. Hattons now have Pre-owned as a seperate listing on their main page. This is a good move making it possible for the first time to see all their secondhand stuff easily as you can filter it like new stuff.
  11. You wait two months for a train and what do you get a Sprinter and a Voyager. Where are the Warships, Westerns and Hymeks? Well that's it, business as usual now, nothing to see here (anymore)
  12. To celebrate the monumental efforts of RMWebbers to have a 100 page thread and not have it locked (well just the once for a little bit), Network Rail in conjunction with the Orange Army and Cross Country Trains, there will be an empty stock movement along the Dawlish Sea Wall at 00:11 on the 4th April 2014.
  13. CK has probably had an early night, it's been a busy old 2014 so far.
  14. Maybe we've exhausted concurrent sessions with everyone seeking that elusive first revenue service.
  15. But if we want to get to 100 pages before the first none engineers movement after midnight then I should throw a tantrum now and create lots of activity to get us on a page and a bit.
  16. Lol I was referring to the 66 which was moving even the light reflections off the camera almost match. It was a constantly moving target so the 37 seconds will be the clock times on our 'puters.
  17. Those are almost the same image, how close were we in getting a screen grab. (Edit referring to the 66)
  18. With 3 hours to the first trains, the engineers are still out on track. There is a road/rail vehicle on track too.
  19. That is no track vehicle, it's the new FGW unit for local services. The cost of repairing all this has to come from somewhere so all the sprinters have been sent to the North West to allow TPE to transfer its 170s south. The FGW track access and leasing savings are paying for the repairs.
