  1. Great photos of your club layout Andy, I am sure Jeff will find it inspires him even more as I am sure it will all Lunesters
  2. Rob Do you have a site / gallery / thread that you put all your railway photos on that we can look at. Jeff's index is great but you must have many more that we haven't seen Let us know where they are, spread the word
  3. Nick Great looking rake (21 I think) of wagons on videos, it certainly looks like all that hard work pays off in the end
  4. Peter A great idea, I would certainly be happy to contribute and also likely to be educated sometime in the future from the survey. Although you may have to think of some way of indexing them for future use as the library grows
  5. I certainly do use the index an awful lot & I use this specific thread as my first port of call when I need info The index is a great addition, I find it easier to use than the overall search facility on rmweb ............and if you can't find the answer, ask the question as recently with Kadee couplers, not much info originally but question asked, answers given & now in index A great source of information, thank you Jeff & fellow Lunesters I think we have the start of Wiki Lunester
  6. Index is on page 1 Bottom left chevrons at page numbering
  7. Artificial turf would be no good for Jeff, just wouldn't be authentic S&C
  8. I think there guarding the grass to stop Jeff from nabbing it all
  9. Jeff Their is already a world shortage of timber & plaster now your going to cause a problem with the very ground we walk on Soon there will be nothing left for us, just Luneside Fell for us to look at in amazement & awe
  10. Andy My first visit to Glenfinick and very impressed with your super fast progress Will be returning to check progress
  11. Great idea indexing Rob's photos, they are always nice to look at and any aid to finding them must be useful
  12. A great looking scene, I can smell the sea air, & I think Whitby Abbey is just coming into view
  13. Well you all seem to have got your heads together & come up with a great scenario. Everyone can now sit back a watch Lord Lunester at work
  14. Jason I am certain it will be the sheet option but I will look at the various options, I don't think I will be ready for them for another two months yet anyway
  15. Thanks for that update Jason, I will visit Howard's Scenic's over the weekend with a view to ordering some gear, you should be on commission with all your suppliers, I was ordering from Parkside yesterday following one of your posts.
  16. Jeff Sounds like you've got the towering rock-face situation under control and I hope to see some photos soon with it a bit lower so that you can fit some sky in I did think Jason, Mike & Andy had a point but I couldn't bring myself to criticizing being a mere surf lunester
  17. Jason I very much like the idea of the setts, something I must seriously look at, will keep an eye on your progress to see how its done. Great work there
  18. Once I have some Kadee's arrive along with some rolling stock to build I will experiment with the Kadee uncouplers along with a number of neodymium magnets that I have down at Sheddington & report back
  19. Jeff Great to see so much info about Kadee's / couplers it all adds to this great learning resource you have created. This thread is now my first port of call when I am looking for info, just great with the index & so much quicker than going through the forum search facility.
  20. I certainly do remember Bootsie & Snudge, I think it was a follow up to The Army Game with Alfie Bass & Bill Fraser. They don't make them like that any more Although I think we need to wait & see how a full series of Botchit & Bodget
  21. I am looking forward to some cooperation from the two of you and maybe a co-production of videos by Botchit & Bodget
  22. Hi all I have just ordered a number of mineral wagons from Parkside Dundas (Jason's recommendation) I intend to fit them out with Kadee's to give them a try. I currently have no rolling stock whatsoever, so I have a blank canvas, if successful it will be Kadee all the way
  23. Polly / Mike I have called in a few times throughout the day & not much doing, Jeff is obviously hard at it down the bunker Maybe we need to ask a question or two Jeff What are you thinking about using for couplers on the layout, sticking with the RTR or swapping them to Kadee maybe or something else
  24. I hope this BIG SECRET doesn't involve dressing up in strange clothing & dancing around (what have you started Andy in lounge thread) Yes, Jeff's a Morris Dancer What a load of bells
