  1. Jason Just been on the http://www.parksidedundas.co.uk/index.html website my first visit some great looking gear I will put an order together over the next couple of days. I have no rolling stock whatsoever so will order a number of different items to take a look at & try out I need a lot of mineral wagons so seems a good place to start, prices are pretty good too, which is a good thing as I need a lot of practice on weathering techniques.
  2. Jim An awful lot of detail going into the engine shed I'm sure it will be worth all the effort, certainly looking forward to the finished item
  3. Those wagon kits you have built look really good, I have never really thought about building any, but I think I may have to look into them a little more.
  4. Mike Sounds like the den is coming together, I am sure all Lunesters are looking forward to seeing you up & running again once its completed / repaired
  5. That's wonderful new in these difficult economic times, it could provide work in the area for many more years to come If only the government would follow suite and put more money into construction projects
  6. No still nothing from Jeff, he's keeping very tight lipped I bet its that secret yearning of his to run Thomas The Tank Engine over the viaduct (he does keep it very quiet) Now that would be worth seeing
  7. Jeff You do know how to leave us sat on the edge of our seats wanting to know more Now come on out with it, if we don't get it from you, you know Andy P will just make something up that he would like to see you doing
  8. Thanks for the update Andy, another great Idea from Jeff I'm sure he will make it work But I don't think he will be able to wait a week before he puts the plan into action
  9. Jason Those rows of terraced houses look great so life like you can imagine being on a passing train looking at them &wondering what goes on inside them
  10. John Will put the date in my diary & hopefully will see you there
  11. John Great photo from under the footbridge, hope to see Lincoln Central again soon, I will be following your progress
  12. Nick I have been away from the forum for a few weeks just catching up, more fine work you've been doing there
  13. Jeff Those photos of the plaster you have been putting on are very good, you can now get a good feeling for the topography you are creating. As ever you leave us wanting to see more
  14. Kingmoorkid Welcome along to the world of Lunesterisms That is an awful lot of info you've taken in from this thread you must be full to bursting I am sure we all look forward to your contributions now that you've jumped in
  15. Great video there but you had better slow that second one down before it crashes into the first one
  16. Jim You seem to be moving forward again Jim, that shed with the hole in the roof looks very authentic, the surrounding are also looks very good. Look forward to seeing more updates over the coming weeks. Hopefully we will also meet up again soon, at an exhibition somewhere and compare notes. We never did get that drink together
  17. Nick I had a breakfast cereal bar this morning that looked something like your scrap loads Trouble is I think your scrap loads look more appetising than my cereal bars
  18. This sounds like good progress today Jeff and the percentage complete is going up so your continuing in the right direction I certainly cant fault the methodical way you approach these tasks
  19. Andy More great photos there Sounds like you're getting Jeff interested in an O gauge that he could do in his spare time
  20. John / Mark Good to meet you both at Scampton today, thanks for the invite, it was great to see Lincoln Central up & running. It's quite inspirational seeing it, makes me want to get down the shed & move things on a good bit faster than I am doing. (Wont rush to much though) Hope to see you again soon, good luck with clearing it all away & getting it back home
  21. Jeff Good to see you got your gauge problem sorted out, like Jason said (although I am just a novice) you need to ensure all your track is up & running, I am doing mine as I go along in sections & have had a couple of issues, that drove me a bit more lunester It certainly makes you feel good once you have a section of track that you know runs right, I have then been happy to move on
  22. Great to see that movement on the track, I am sure any problems will disappear into oblivion as more locos are run, & all the scenic's come together, as it appears to be doing
  23. Andy I am sorry to hear your not going to be doing as many shows but I can understand why & you must put your health first. I will have to make sure I get to see & meet you at Mansfield in a couple of weeks. It would be a great shame if Trebudoc was not seen running though, maybe some of our fellow Lunesters could come up with a plan or ideas to keep it up & running
  24. Andy Some great shot there, I really like that parcels van
