  1. A couple with a fresh coat of paint. D1030 Cardiff & D1070 Paddington.
  2. I think the main office block as gone.
  3. I don`t have to tell you where i am with these 2 photos, but it does look like they always stabled green 47`s at that buffer stop (compare teddybears post 562)
  4. Now thats what i like to see. A lovely clean shed
  5. Back to Laira today .April 75 Looks like D1040, D1049 present.
  6. Think i`m going to need a few more Teddy bears for the inside of my shed.
  7. 2 more from Plymouth, Sorry no numbers.
  8. I have just googled D7089 Laira. and i can tell you it certainly moved around in that line. If its not the same western, other contenders are 1003 1006 1020. 1 photo shows D7089 at the buffer stops, while another shows it in the middle of a line up.
  9. You know ,i can`t honestly remember. I was just wandering around taking a few snaps. There is a scribble on the back of 2 of the photos saying April 75. i seem to think you are right though, in the fact that they are the same loco. Got a few more pics of the working examples on the same day, to follow soon. Didn`t you just love those instamatic 126 with the cartridge film.
  10. I`m sure some one will know the other 1 of these westerns, that made up the Hymek sandwich ?
  11. T`was quite a large goods shed, but i can`t remember any lines running into the place at the time. I know i didn`t get much of a view from the road, when going back to the camp on the top deck of a Devon general sea dog.
  12. Just another couple of Matt paper scans for today. sorry i have no other details other than a light scribble on the back of the photos (10/6/74). Will post you a couple of slightly better ones soon.
  13. Don`t forget to put your coupling rods the right way up ?
  14. Can i just throw these 2 in, from some of our old family holiday shots. The old fella wouldn`t let me have the camera that often. i think he knew i would walk down to Goodrington sidings, and sit there all day on a summer saturday. By the way ,do you remember when your photos came back, from the chemist, on that crappy mat paper ?
  15. Surely some one would know, just be its body side scar.
  16. If you get it for that price, Good on ya. You`ll be happier with the Warship, than 3 new presflows.
  17. Yes it was the overlap in time, that i was thinking about. It was in a long shed, that as much as i can say really. There was a set of BP coaches either side of D400 , & a driving car, in line with D400. if that makes any sense. But thanks for the reply. I just love any thing that as a time line so close .ie class 50`s along side steam, etc did any one get a pic of a green western alongside a blue western, or did a new class 56 ever meet a wezzie? i think you get the jist . I`m sure there are plenty of other close time lines between different locos.
  18. Sorry, can`t help with that one. i saw it in the Pontefract show on Saturday. By the guy who was selling all is photos in albums. Ya never know, he might just be a member of this site. Here`s hoping.
  19. Just seen a photo of D400 at OOC, alongside a blue pullman. Now that must be a fairly close run time.
  20. I think nearly everyone will have a photo of those last 2, from the banking to the left. i know i have somewhere.
