It still does not sound good for this model. Think i`ll stay away from this one a little longer, My Dapol wezzie went straight back to the shop ,with a serious wobble, bits missing and throwing its self of the track at ever corner.
  5. I went past on the bike the other day ,sorry didn`t get a photo. But i can tell you, that you would be lucky to see where the class 56`s are standing.(at that time) Plant life seems to be above rolling stock height these days.

  7. You and me alike . But the times i would always see D60 was down in Paignton, on our summer holidays. And the old fella playing bloody hell, that they would send down "our" engines, But they won`t let us come down all this way. (Not like an Holbeck driver to moan)
  8. Nice for some folk, but it not to nice up in Leeds.
  9. For some reason, maybe just to me. But the Hornby 31 just does not look right. And thats why i ain`t got 1.
  10. Just to point out, if you want something different to model, remember some of them didn`t have buffers . ( usually at 1 end).
  11. It would have looked better with headcode panels & pre tops numbers & no nameplate. in my opinion ?.
  12. It looks like some one can`t get the transfers right, even on a full size loco. going by the looks of the arrows on 50007.
  13. The shot with the sentinel is a beauty Must be a lot of fish in the area, going by the heron on the bonnet.
  14. Oh, and i forgot, there was platform shoes/boots, Oxford bags and Tesco turn ups. but of course i can`t remember wearing any of those things in that time ?
  15. Post 88: 08756, seem to remember this being at Elsecar for a while. Don`t know where it is now though.
  16. Looks like the Polmadie shunter line up as 2 06 shunters in the line up.
  17. Ref : Post 259 ,pic of Holbeck. i`m sure Honourable Artillery Company still had split headcode box in 1975.
  18. Nice Photo of the class 31 in post 1694, for SGJ of the Armley Moor layout. The photo looks like it was taken, from what would of being one of Armley Moors platforms, with the line to the coal yard to the extreme left.
  19. Not so much abandoned, but well of the beaten track. Is a MML Mk3 at Birkenshaw Fire training station (near Bradford).
  20. Thanks for that . I wonder if it was saved by some one or just simply cut up.
  21. There is something lurking in the trees at the side of Knottingley station, and as being there for many years. Just wondered if the lone VDA is still at the old Carrington fuel depot, near Manchester that line as long being disconnected. (still there on google earth & bing maps 3/4 view)
