Thanks Colin, We had 98 people there in total, so very busy and loads of money changing hands. Locos seemed to be in high demand. The ladies in the kitchen had to go to the local butcher for bacon on two occasions after running out, due to high demand. Rothby was originally sold on to a guy in the North East, who had it for 5 or 6 years before passing it on. The row of houses and some of the other buildings where not on the original layout. I had the other station Rothampton (that was unfinished) and that was rewired,scenics finished and went on to the exhibition circuit. It is now looked after by the Rainhill MRC. Stan.

Keith, We are looking for a volunteer to trial the laser cutting experiment this Saturday. Although the guys are only just starting, they are confident they will not make a mistake. Would you like me to put your name forward as the volunteer ? We will give you hand to climb on the table. Stan.

We held our latest gathering yesterday Sat. 15th July and what a great afternoon it was, with 80 people coming through the door, breaking our previous record of 65.
