  1. Went to the vets with a brother and sister...came back with two boys. That was a turn up for the books!

      Went to the vets with boy for pre-op for neutering. Same vet that had originally sexed the cat realised that it required a different operation.......  Cue, embarrassed vet.

      Bought a guinea pig, got the book out, decided that the back end was round not pointed, therefore he must be male. 2 weeks later he had a litter of 6...

      That's very sad. I lost my cat that I've owned since I was 5 the same way, so like Londontram, I know how you feel. Thoughts are with you and your family.

      I had not layed any ballast so it was just a case of removing the pins

      if you have used water prufe PVA than you up the Creak it its just PVA then warm water & a scraper under the track then tap out the ballast

      All to do with the magic of light temperatures - have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature

       

      For photting, you need to replace your tubes with daylight tubes. 64K off the top of my head.

      I must have meant 54ooK, but look here for more info about buying tubes - I'm going to get a new set soon for my shed to replicate the lighting in the location I am modelling
