    ARe these the Bachmann's models or DJH kits to give us a taster? From the photos they have a certain kit built look to them.

    Good one Pennine! Don't mean to go too far off bat here, but I find Bachmann measuring up a Black 5 interesting. I wonder how far away from a Jubilee a black 5 is? And though the Honby model is good, the models have come on leaps and bounds since then.

    I was reading today how this model is going to have etched brass nameplates which I think is excellent and will be a big improvment over the printed ones on the A1's. I just wonder if this is something that we'll see introduced on othe Bachmann releases (eg A1's) in the future. I must say that I'm hopeful after Bachmann have been revisting stuff like the peaks, which look great.
