Superb photo that Dave, the location is a 10 minute walk from me, the foot bridge your dad took the photo from is still there as is the row of cottages behind the train, however everything to the right of it is now the main A63 duel carriage way. Rob -

Be my guest Derek glad it helped you out. Here's another unrefurbished 31/4 with white stripe, 31409 on an engineers train at Hull Paragon, note the crane working under the roof. Rob -

D8314 heads a line up of brand new class 20s at Dairycoates on 1/8/68, the others are D8310 -D8313. These photos have been kindly lent to me by my fellow Hessle MRG club member Dave Holmes (a name familiar to Mick!) who was an electrician there in the last 60s. Rob -

Unfortunately I dont Rob, at a guess there on Hull to Manchester workings vice the usual 31/4, that weighbridge would go nicely with the Hutton Cranswick signal box fittings we now have at Fimber. Rob -

Nice pic Rob, that weighbridge wants saving before it gets worse and just demolished. Couple of night pics with today being the shortest day, 37054 and 47214 both at Hull Paragon. Rob -

D5061 isn't passed for the Whitby running hence no yellow warning panel, fellow NYMR type 2 class 25 D7628 is however, IIRC the orange cantrail stripe was added after it visited a friend's and family of staff open day at Tyne Yard in the early 2000s and despite being repainted since has retained that feature.
