  1. I did, used to help out with the guys on 50027 Lion when it was at the NYMR, good times were had up there. Rob
  2. Fantastic work as always Lee, don't worry, painting NSE is a challenge on a real 50 never mind a 00 gauge model!. Rob
  3. Nice find Phil, do you know a date or the number of the class 14?. Rob
  4. Flipping heck!,looks like my old Model Express kit might have a second chance!. Rob
  5. Has a price been announced for them yet?. Rob
  6. In which case Gareth you probably have the finest collection of class 14 photos in the country, please keep them coming there absolute gems. Rob
  7. Those photos almost make it look like I know what I'm doing, and whose the other bloke!. A superb day and lots of positives from it. Rob
  8. Fingers crossed, the difficult bit will be deciding which one to model there's so many I'd choose from. Rob
  9. Hi Steve, an excellent idea, for me the best looking 7mm class 47 is the DJH kit but from what I've read the moulds are starting to wear out and the price has gone up! I've often wondered why JLTRT haven't added one to their range considering Mr Waterman still owns 47402. Rob
  10. Fear not Craig Rule 1 certainly applies to us!, the class 131 parcels unit is an option we've looked at and I've also wondered how far north the Derby Lightweight ultrasonic test train got. Rob
  11. Thanks Craig, sadly not as the layout is being based around Wick, Thurso, Kyle of Lochalsh areas which were dmu free, however had that not been the case you would certainly be seeing and hearing rattling windows and rasping exhausts along with the coughing and spluttering of Sulzer type two's!. Rob
  12. As well as the continuing work on the track work and wiring further items of rolling stock have been worked on first up a type 27 Wickham trolley Easy build BG JLTRT CCT van Rob
  13. Absolutely brilliant Gareth and thanks again for sharing them with us all. Rob
  14. Hi Gareth Yes I have a copy of the dvd, of all the hydraulic loco types the class 14s are my favourite so the event was unmissable for me, it was also my first run with D9521 and it looked and sounded great, can't wait to see more of your superb photos. Rob
  15. D9513 isn't fictional as its in NCB blue which is different to BR blue, D9521 was numbered 14021 not 14901 when in Rail freight livery, D9524 has also worn BR blue while numbered 14901 and 14701 in Load Haul has ( thankfully!) only existed in model form as a special limited edition from Hattons. Rob
  16. Nice to see you got the slide of D831 I was also looking at that, there can't be to many pic's of it in that colour scheme. Rob
  17. Is it this clip Phil? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1XRbUuKrcQ Rob
  18. Excellent photos Neil, can't wait to see more and a big thank you for sharing them. Rob
  19. That makes 2 of us then!,5 years ago I bought a JLTRT class 50 and a set of wheels to build as a 1 off static model in o gauge, 4 and a half years later I haven't touched 4mm since, the o gauge bug bit me hard! Rob
