It is,that pic was taken today on the daily exercise about 3.30 and it's strange now quiet that stretch of road is.
I do indeed volunteer at the YWR,until the plague brought a halt to things our extension into field 2 was going well, keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for when we get going again ,you'll be made very welcome and there's always a good cup of tea to be had.

Did you notice if it was diesel or petrol I'm desperate for a diesel tank?
Went back there today Russ, can't tell if it's diesel or petrol I'm afraid but took a pic of the other side.
if your interested in enquiring about it you need to contact Minstergate Hyundai in Hessle,I did know one of their parts guys there but not sure he's still there and with what's going on their also currently closed.

Hi Russ
Most of the site at Melton has been cleared however all the track is in place and the shed, seen behind the Ruston shunter,is still there with a Fowler shunter inside, don't know what became of the Ruston in the pic.

It seems that the Bristol locos are a very popular choice! I've done D2121 in blue as well. Looking at photos oh her, she was fitted with a bell on the hood below the cab horn. I made one from plastic rod, but I'm not sure that it worked too well. Does anyone know if its possible to buy a small bell casting that would do the job?
I'm also looking at doing D2121 in blue with mine,I've got pic from eBay a while ago of it and D2122 together and that also had a bell fitted, not ordered anything yet but the Cornwall Model Boats website has various sizes listed that should do the job.

I wasn't at Kettering last weekend but, for anyone who did make it, was there any news or talk about the Class 03? I don't know whether Heljan attended themselves, but the last chat I heard was that delivery was expected in the summer.
Pic here on Tower Models website, looking good IMO,have got a blue one on pre-order with my local model shop.

Did Dapol have any delivery info or samples of the forthcoming 08 that will be released in Freightliner, EWS etc at Glasgow?
Contacted them a number of weeks ago as the digest seems to have gone quiet, but yet to receive a response.
Any info gratefully received.
Kind Regards,
Chris

Thanks Arun,I'll keep a look out on this thread for updates and the Radley models one.Once I've finished the instructions and worked out a price, it will be available though www.radleymodels.com . Just keep an eye on Phil Radley's website [look in the 7mm section].
I've written in the first part of the instructions that it isn't really suitable for someone unfamiliar with working with large resin castings.
