Having just sold a loco on Ebay , which has been paid for , the address for delivery comes up as :- ARGOS in Sainsbury's eCP:XXXXXXXXX 30 Mere Green Road Sutton Coldfield The XX has been amended as it appears to be a code for delivery but is otherwise accurate. Why would I be sending my loco that has just sold to ARGOS in Sainsbury's.. Anyone had anything similar or is it suspect?

did you remove the capacitors across the motor circuit? Is the circuit wired for best practice on DCC , ie no loops and snubbers at the open end ( electrically open end) ....?

You need to have a 'motor' connected to get a programming response.. alternatively plug it in the power car , program it, change CV29 to give it reverese ( the power car goes forward and the trailer goes backwards at the same time) , then put it back into the trailer car and finally program the decoder now in the power car... alternatively put the trailer chip in any handy 8 pin DCC loco sitting around and program it there ...

Ive just checked the DAPOL122's and 121's that I have .. ALL of the class 122's have a hole in the bogie hub cap for the speedo cable along with the hole in the chassis. Its on the 'passenger end' nearside , just below the hole in the solebar, forward wheel. None of the 121's have a hole for the speedo cable in the hub cab. Ah well - out with the Dremel... Edited to make it a little clearer after reading it back.

Its now a requirement that anyone taking blood pressure or medication for life threatening conditions, have a review. Medication was stopped till I was reviewed, which sounds a bit naughty. Having now got me onto drugs for a lifetime of blood pressure treatment, etc.,then there is a threat that prescription drugs will be stopped. Mine was with the doctor/ surgery/ nurse, when and where weight, BMI , BP etc were all logged and 'targetted' ( lose 14lbs by next review, cut down on animal fats to lower cholestrol etc, ) and then came the 'threats' by stating what percenage of the population pop off in the next 12 months with my statistics. A copy of the 'review' was then printed and handed to me. So, according to the forecasts , I should be wishing you all good luck and good bye...

Stop thinking of how to codge it together , get a proper controller , You spend hundreds of pounds on each loco , don't know how many thousands on a layout , then try and get it working with suspect circuitry in the hope of saving pennies.

Last time I saw it the track through MOIRA , Leicestershire was well underused, unless its now been closed.....
