      90002 on the 1923 Euston to Manchester.

       

      Avanti canceled it’s 1923 and it’s clear the message crossed at Euston as 90002 arrived considerably full at Rugby.


      Quite why Avanti at Rugby were telling passengers it’s 2024 (1923 ex Euston) to Manchester was canceled and to board the LMR service to Crewe and seek assistance was beyond me though… the LSL service definitely had space and was running in the same path as the 2024..

       

      or course the Crewe LMR arrived, with passengers falling out the doors it was so rammed.

      1751 to Lancaster on its way.

       

      It’s actually quite weird being on an old train with normal passengers. Train is about 1/3 full (I suspect the Monday one will be very full). It was announced as the

       

      “1751 to Lancaster operated by West Coast rail on behalf of Network rail and is for the benefit of all ticket holders.”

       

       

      was a bit amusing to see one couple with tickets on the table ready for inspection, others on laptops, kids on iPads…

       

      First class is full of enthusiasts, up front.

      I have 5 copies stored separately, its a 1/4ly job to keep them in sync and spool up the drives. I really wish i could find an easy way to move 2tb to the cloud, when I dont have a 2tb laptop drive to store them on first before uploading

      Bus 64 starts by Alton station,but as the rail service is hourly at that time in the am, and the bus a bit adhoc theres no option but a but a long wait at Alton or an Early arrival at Four Marks

      You didnt say which day, but based on a saturday, theres an 06:13 Camberley - Ash Vale, and 06:44 to Alton arr 07:11. Bus 64 to Winchester at 07:20 arrives 07:35, or 08:00 arrives 08:15
