  1. You were warned! More colouring in, and the Staedtler pen, ( water soluble so you can wipe off mistakes with a moist finger ) If it the ink gets on the window edges it resembles the stains left by smokers!
  2. It works well on the Bachmann Colletts too- so you might get hung on one of these if you mention Malachite Green again.....
  3. It's a 5yr old Bachmann coach, but I've 'coloured in' the window recesses with a dark brown Staedtler pen to hide the thickness of the plastic. I bet you're glad the lamp irons are moulded on.......
  4. Who is the lady with a paper bag over her head in the first picture? she obviously did not impress the airman !
  5. Yes, half term- the grandchildren seem to have gained access to my shed ; luckily my embryo Limpley Stoke is 5 feet off the ground and, being proactive, I had laid a decoy track on top of my workbench for robust old trains as a diversion until they have learnt not to rip the buffers off my proper stock!
  6. I do like your wire coupling loops on your praries - really unobtrusive. I wonder if they would work as well fixed behind the buffer beam of a 4-6-0 - given the overhang from the driving wheels. To get the perfect GWR screw link front coupling hitched up to the left buffer base is really difficult- could this be an opportunity for 3D printing?
  7. Yup! It was a very attractive lady staggering out of the loo at a very smart reception. Can't remember whose wedding it was, though!
  8. Is that Elephant Man carrying his boots in the first photo ? The Heljan 1368 looks so much better than the prerelease photos but I have to resist the temptation!
  9. That clerestory coach you snapped would look good in sepia. app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=804881"]DSCN9932(1).jpg[/url] Excellent! It shows Peco's new track up well!
  10. Oh, I forgot - is it too late? Please welcome to the CME fancy dress ball, a vey late arrival Mr & Mrs Wright and their son Wayne......... And, er, Shiplake !
  11. Hmmmm. Belsize Park! (At least it's still Rail related and perhaps someone will shout Paddington, then we're nearly home!)
