  1. Hi, Dave, great selection of photo's again today. Now about that class 31 in green with yellow ends a one small double arrow. I thought that the livery seemed familiar, in that in an Ian Allan ABC for 1970, on page 37, there is a photo' of D5624 in exactly the same livery. Good to see Little Bytham, a terrific ECML location for photography and railway history. Looking forward to more photo's. All the best, Market65.
  2. Can't Smile Without You - Barry Manilow.
  3. Hi, you're quite right about weathering not lightening cream. However, having had another look at the review, it also states that the crimson is too dark and ought to be redder. I think that I shall have to do a complete repaint which is a shame really, but it looks as if it might be the only way to get the livery right. Then the - very lightly applied - weathering. Also in the review something else which is mentioned are some 'prominent mounting screws' which seems potentially worrying! All the best, Market65.
  4. Hi, that Model Rail review has photo's which I found hard to make out too much detail. However it is also stated that, there are no destination board clips. Will now wait, until I can see a coach, and then decide. Any I get will be weathered anyway so any livery issues will not be quite so much of a problem for me. All the best, Market65.
  5. Hi, Dave, what great photo's of Cramlington and Dover. Really enjoyed seeing them all. I look forward to more. All the best, Market65.
  6. Home Lovin' Man - Andy Williams.
  7. Hi, a photo' of a B.R. Standard class 4mt 2-6-4T, working some ex-LNER fish vans. Market65.
  8. Hi, Dave, great views of the bridge over The Kyle of Sutherland. Some nice typical train formations for that line in the '70's. Good detail for those wishing to make a model of the bridge. More photo's please. All the best, Market65.
  9. Hi, the weathering of the Crab looks good to me, I can't see the problem with the middle of the boiler. Good idea about those front steps, for I've done exactly the same dodge with my Crabs. All the best, Market65.
  10. Hi, Dave, I think that the second coach behind that class 40 is one of the 1957 Prototypes - I could be wrong! I like the view of Dent. My very first thought on seeing it was also to think of the great David Jenkinson. Great photo's, really enjoying what you are posting and please keep them coming. All the best, Market65.
  11. Falling Into You - Celine Dion.
  12. Hi, DaveF, excellent views of the LT&SR. Good views of those class 302 EMU's. Please keep the photo's coming. All the best, Market65.
  13. First Born Of The Earth - Sally Oldfield. She's the sister of Mike Oldfield.
  14. Ask Any Girl - Diana Ross & The Supremes.
  15. Coming back from Bridlington on the bike, going through Driffiield I saw a shop with a banner ''Manic Mondays''!

    1. Horsetan

What about their other branch, Happy Mondays?

  16. Hi, DaveF, what superb photo's again. Thank goodness that you and your dad took the time to photograph all that you did. It really is of such historical importance. The class 110 DMU views are of interest - another Bachmann/Hornby project of mine - must try add some form of roof welds if I can. The 101 set at Pannal has a 104 TSL in it. followed by a 110 set. Thanks again for these excellent photo's. All the best, Market65.
  17. One Way Donkey Ride - Mary Black.
  18. Hi, DaveF, thanks for these latest photo's. The view of Ardwick goods yard is full of detail and is very interesting. Good to see the class 506 EMU's - a solid workman-like design. The class 104 DMU puts me in mind of the Hornby/Bachmann hybrid twin that I've made. Good views of them at work. All the best, Market65.
  19. Gold Dust Woman - Fleetwood Mac.
  20. Hi, DaveF, what tremendous views of Selby. I know the station and area well, living not too far away from it(have cycled there many times). The class 40 D243 in April '66 is particularly interesting. I've been working on a model of York's D285, and it is interesting to see detail differences - no bottom cutaways to the warning panels and an extra overhead warning flash on the nose end. In addition there are no shed plates carried at the number one end. I agree with Western Sunset, it is good to see the concrete-edged garden area that the LNER was fond of in the pre-war era in the N.E. Area of the LNER. More photo's please. All the best, Market65.
