  1. Any latest delivery information on this loco. Not seen anything in the projects updates. Last update indicated Autumn 2023 expected.
  2. So can anyone clarify, of the two new class 31 models coming from AS & Bachmann are either or both going to have prototypical smaller centre wheel sizes and associated drive system, i.e. A1A-A1A or will they be all wheel pick up and drive. Thanks for your reply's in advance.
  3. So Basically Heljan do have the right bodyshell to do 86 402 in BR Blue before conversion to railfreight Grey, but they have used the wrong bodyshell for the mock up picture above. Am i correct in this understanding ? If so hopefully they will rectify this for full production model.
  4. That's exactly what I was thinking. My imagination has been doing overtime remembering WCML Speedlink & steel formations racing up & down shap with railfreight distribution livered class 89/1's. Followed by Original Freightliner grey 89/2's on heavily laden container flows to and from mossend. Come on you Accurascale guys. You know you want too.
  5. Does anyone know these wagon's history, (Dapol's version). Build dates, livery dates etc. Thanks in advance.
  6. Yes. I would also like to know this. I paid in full for my items at the time of ordering. (just over a year ago now). Is it just the customers who had a balance to pay that are getting a despatch email or are all orders being advised this way. Thanks in advance Revolution.
  7. Hi Michael, Thanks for that, managed to get on the plan. What through me when I initially tried to order, was like you say it's on step 5 but it refers to the 'Leader plan' rather than DHP1. Anyway all sorted now. Cheers again.
  8. Hi Keith & Michael, I've tried to order DHP1 via the e-mail I received on the 11 June. The e-mail directs you to the order page, but there doesn't appear to be the option to pay via the payment plan as stated in the e-mail. Could you advise please.

    Preorder email

Me too. I've just had similar e-mail. Not sure who's fault this is, Hattons or Hornby but this needs addressing ASAP because like you say faith in the pre order system will evaporate. No more pre-orders from me for Hornby items from Hattons until this ridiculous situation is sorted.
  10. To Fran & all at Accurascale, Just wanted to say I am now the grateful recipient and owner of 2x15 wagon rakes of Yeoman & ARC respectively, and these are some of the finest 00 gauge vehicles I have in my collection. You guys have done it again. Personally I don't have any issues with the colour shades. Once weathered I'm sure they will look even more refined. I don't think us modellers realise just how lucky we are to have you manufacturing all these brilliant models at such reasonable prices, Really looking forward to your forth coming projects especially the Locomotives. Thanks again Accurascale. From a very satisfied customer D7100.
  11. After reading through this thread I thought (with some trepidation) I would check my 37174 & 37242. And it's NOT good news I'm afraid. 37174 shows signs of chassis bow at one end whist 37242 seems to be the worst of the pair. The first thing that struck me with 242 when removing from it's packaging was the way the buffers at both ends were distinctly starting to curl upwards like Aladdin's shoes. Both models exhibited chassis protruding below the body (no photos sorry), but similar to other photos earlier in this thread. Both models stored at room temperature since purchase when they were both released. Now to find receipts and check other models. Will this Mazak nightmare ever end. cheers D7100.
  12. Not sure about the class 28. If I remember rightly that was a calabaration with Hattons. Not sure who owns the tooling, but if Hattons have any rights to it i I would think it's unlikely to appear in Bachmann's arms length spin off given the current position between the two parties.
  13. To Hattons Dave. If your reading this I would like to ask you to please reconsider your decision and at least give all the people that are now commenting on this subject time to get their pre-orders in. As stated many times already if you are closing your pre-order option how can you gauge demand. Also as Trains 4U said there may be lots of wholesale options to be explored. I think most of us appreciate the financial issues that are present in the global market at the moment within the backdrop of a global pandemic and respect that Hattons and other retailers and manufactures have some tuff decisions to make. But it seems a shame with so much work already put into the project not to at least allow more time for pre-orders to be taken. Cheers. D7100.
  14. Yes I noticed that the pristine ones have sold out. In fact I had an email from Rails stating that #5016 was sold out on pre-order. Like CB Rail said they have not been available for quiet some time and do go for very inflated prices on some auction sites. Also the pristine version you say you like is around a tenner cheaper than the weathered ones, so this may be why those particular wagons have all sold out. Not sure about other retailers other than those you mentioned having allocations. Maybe Heljan are looking after the big boys first and there's more to come for other retailers. Cheers D7100.
