  1. To my knowledge the RHTT sets are stored until the following leaf fall season. Occasionally over the summer the sets might see a bit of use on the mainline for training/test run purposes. Like this summer two Colas Class 70s were on test runs with them at York. But it's very unlikely that you will see RHTT sets in the winter or spring.
  2. Thanks Jim. In my opinion this is the smartest liveried celebrity GBRF shed. Although all of the other ones wear nice liveries too. I just think that the blue and the wave look really good. If you are after a 66711 just search the loco number on the new Hattons website and they have some available at the discounted price of £113 each. As always excellent photos and it's good to see the celebrity sheds.
  3. Brilliant Jim, thank you very much. It was only the other day that I decided not to get this one just because I begrudge paying £170 for one loco. Although now at £153 this looks more appealing. I will definitely have this one now and I will buy one tomorrow. Thank you very much for letting me know. Has yours arrived yet?
  4. If you don't mind me asking Jim what offer was their on 66727 from Rails? I messaged Rails this week and asked if their was to be any reduction/discounts on 727 either on the advent calendar or as an offer and they replied that their wasn't going to be. Thank you in advance.
  5. For anyone interested I was in Leeds station yesterday and I saw ex ScotRail now Northern 170456 and 170457. Then later on in the morning I saw 170454 depart Horsforth for Leeds. These three having come from Scotland to Neville Hill for use with Northern in the past couple of weeks along with 170455 although I didn't see this yesterday so this may not be in service with Northern as yet. I also saw 170478 in Leeds station yesterday afternoon wearing the new Northern livery and fully refurbished waiting to depart on a Huddersfield bound service. Of note this is the first time I have seen a 170 for Northern working to Huddersfield. Not directly related to HSTs either GWR or ScotRail but due to the ScotRail HSTs been deployed in Scotland the cascading has meant that Northern have gained additional units. I hope this is of use.
  6. Thanks for the reply Charlie. Happy to wait for the 142s as I'm sure that they will be excellent models. Plus it gives me more time to save up for some of them. Now, a ScotRail Class 156 is tempting considering that some of them have recently transferred to Northern.
  7. Thank you for the reply. It would be good if you could. I missed out on the first batches of 143s and 144s, although I am very much looking forward to some Northern 142s. The FGW Local Lines & GWR Green liveries interest me particularly on the 143s. Are the 142s likely to arrive next year or could we be looking at 2020? Thank you in advance.
  8. Hi Charlie, Is their any chance that you will be producing any further OO Gauge Class 143s in the FGW Local Lines livery or the new GWR Green livery in the future? Thank you very much in advance.
  9. I have this particular model and I can confirm that their are no livery issues.
  10. Thank you for the reply and for letting me know. I appreciate it. That's brilliant to hear, I was expecting late Summer or Autumn.
  11. Hi everyone, I was unable to attend Warley last weekend. Would anyone be able to answer a few questions please? Were their any CADs, updates or estimated delivery date of the Class 20/3s? Were their any updates on when the GWR & Northern Class 150 DMUs will be arriving? Was their a delivery date for the recently announced Limited Edition 37025 Rep Edition model? Thank you very much in advance. Kind Regards, Danny.
  12. Lovely photo and collection of Colas locos. How much was the Colas 67 from Widnes Model Centre? Thank you in advance. Thank you for the link. I wasn't aware of this shop selling the Colas 47.
  13. Hi, Do you have any DRS Compass 37688 models available in OO Gauge? If so will these be listed on Ebay? Thank you in advance.
  14. That will have been DRS 20302 & 20305. 20007, 20205 and 20303 remain at York.
  15. I would only buy the Northern Branded and Northern Unbranded. I would want to buy two branded and two unbranded Northern versions so it would be nice to offer two different running numbered sets per livery as per the ScotRail 156s. Wasn't the Northern branded already confirmed for two different running numbered models in batch one? Thank you in advance.
  16. Thank you very much for letting me know. I was going to post that I have just passed again on the train and it wasn't visible so I assumed it had departed the depot. Really hoping that Bachmann or Hattons produce this one in OO Gauge, especially now it's named.
  17. I passed Leeds Midland Road on Friday afternoon on the train and I noticed G & W Orange/Black liveried 66413 and 66501 at the top of the first headshunt, the one closest to the mainline. 66413 had a bagged over nameplate on the side that I could see, so it looks like it will be attending an event/ceremony soon. Hope this is of use.
  18. Thank you for list. It's interesting that the 20/3s haven't been listed which would suggest that they are yet to receive an allocated delivery/arrival date. This would suggest that these won't arrive until 2020 at the earliest now. It's also interesting that 37424/37558 has been put back again from February/March 2019 arrival until July 2019 now. It was originally due to arrive in 2018.
  19. Thank you very much for the reply. I really appreciate it. Did anyone manage to get any photos of these? Thank you in advance.
  20. Excuse my ignorance everyone but did anyone that attended the show see any EPs of the Hattons Class 66 or RHTT wagons? Also were their any announcements of new products? Thank you very much in advance.
  21. These look amazing! I for one am not bothered in the slightest by the delay in production. I have been waiting for these photos to appear to decide how many sets to order. Originally I was going to order one of each set in pristine condition, although now I am thinking of trying to afford three or four sets. Really looking forward to buying these. Well done Hattons! Brilliant work!
  22. This is a really interesting thread. Personally if Hornby took more of an interest in modern image locos and rolling stock I think they would get a lot further. Class 37: Yes they have the RailRoad versions but these could be upgraded to produce a fantastic new model. Bachmann as yet haven't upgraded their 37s and considering that Hattons have just announced a new Class 66 a few months ago their definitely is a market for the popular classes of locos to be upgraded, especially considering that more and more modellers/collectors are wanting more for their money, more detailing could be included, better lighting features etc. Class 43: The HSTs are becoming more and more ridiculously priced. 005 and 041 in GWR have just been released and retailers have them at £261 for the pair! Retailers were originally quoting between £220 and £230 for the pair so they have increased significantly in price. Despite the prices I think that a ScotRail pair would sell really well. Also the new LNER branded ex VT power cars and possibly EMT as these haven't been produced for a while. Class 56: We had 087 and 094 in Colas released in late 2015, so that's three years ago now, so by next year it will be getting closer to four years since we last saw any produced. Since then though 302 has been named "Peco" and several have been refurbished and reinstated to traffic in reality with the new Colas logos. With three pairs of them currently working RHTTs and with them working such a variety of trains this surely has to justify another one or two Colas ones. 103 in the new DC Rail Freight livery would be nice as would 312 in DC Rail Grey and the three Large Logo 56s that were based on Leicester TMD. Although I fear now that Hornby have missed the opportunity with these as 303 in DCR Green released last month doesn't appear to have been that popular and in fact I'm not sure that DCR is popular at all now. The same goes for the three Large Logo 56s (081, 098 and 104) as none of these have worked recently. It's a shame with these really because Hornby could have easily of produced some of these in the past few years when they were in traffic and I'm sure they would have proved popular. Class 60: 60076 with Tarmac branding in Colas livery would be a nice adaptation to the original Colas 60087 that was produced. A plain DB Red 60 to rename and renumber would be highly desired by many, many people. It would be a wasted opportunity not to produce one considering that they have worn DB Red for several years now. Also 60095 in the new GBRF livery is a must to enable more recent modellers to be up to date. Class 67: 005 and 006 (both produced) in their latest liveries. It has annoyed me before how Hornby produced 005 in the old tooling as a standard model years ago, then 006 a few years ago as a Limited Edition with the new tooling. So unless you buy two Limited Edition 006 models, one to renumber to 005 if you are able to or do the same with the old 005 model to create 006 also or otherwise you are left with 005 with the old tooling and 006 with the new tooling which would look really odd and out of place together. That's if you are lucky and have managed to obtain both 005 and 006 especially considering that 006 was a Limited Edition. Also 67010, 013, 015 and 028 which now carry DB Red. Of which all contain messages on the bodysides. There are two different messages amongst the four locos. So Hornby could easily produce two in DB Red with different messages on the bodysides. 67021 & 67024 in Pullman livery. These would look really good together and seem very popular with modellers. 67023 "Stella" which was originally announced this year but was changed to 67027 "Charlotte" to go with 027. I am sure that many people would agree that to produce both numbers and names would be most sensible considering that most of the time they work in top and tail formation on test trains and now on engineers trains and more recently RHTTs. Especially considering that the Class 67s are more difficult to renumber/rename because of the names applied to the ribbed bodysides. Personally for me that's what would seem sensible and appropriate to produce. And it's not a wishlist for me as I wouldn't buy some of these models.
  23. OO Gauge 37688 in DRS Compass livery. Catalogue Number: 32-392. Due for arrival with retailers this month. Hope this helps.
  24. Hi all, Just out of interest please could anyone tell me what 13 new models are announced inside this edition? Also is the model of 20227 presumably in OO Gauge a new ready to run/limited edition model or is it just a repaint to be won as a prize? Thank you very much in advance.
  25. Thank you for the reply. Yes I see your point although I'm not sure if anyone would want to buy the Bachmann Sound Decoder seen as though so many people prefer other sound decoders. I could try it though, in the hope that someone would buy the sound decoder separately. Thank you for the help.
