  1. There’ll be no clues, especially none with pixels lads. Just froth and fog…
  2. I'll be honest @Garethp8873it's not something I'd seen previously either, or read about even, and while I'd love to impress you with some intense insight, on this occasion I'm in the dark as well. In an enlargement of a not brilliant photograph, this is what we're looking at. Looking at it closely, it may even be light catching the bolt heads there, with pixellation creating the 'arms', in which case I will amend the artwork.
  3. Certainly seems to be the way Michael, and even into the BR transition period as well.
  4. They are being produced at this very moment Matt and there's still a chance they could arrive for Ally Pally. If not, it will be within a couple of weeks. All the best, Paul
  5. Nigel, as far as I can ascertain, much of the ex-NER wooden bodied wagon fleet remained in pre-1936 lettering through to 1948 - so much so that I did not uncover any usable photographic references of post-1936 lettering being used. Now that's not to say it didn't, I just haven't seen any references. So if you have photographs, then please share them and I'll make sure there's a pack or two especially for you in the second run! All the best, Paul.
  6. Am I allowed to mention the Chaldrons? (dons coat and exits the nearest door)
  7. Not at all, I was merely stating that in any adversity, the kettle should always be the first port of call. Works for me 😆
  8. I'm a firm believer that when faced with adversity, it is far more beneficial to head for the kettle to create thinking space, rather than than head to the keyboard @scumcatOf course, if that fails to solve the problems at hand, we are always available to help you out and take the worry out of your hands. It's the least we can do for our customers, considering the investment you've made in our products 😃
  9. Apart from the Huntley & Palmer Pecketts, and Sir William Stanier you mean? It's not about making 'modern image', or steam, it's about making the right models, at the right time. As has been pointed out, folk have had four years to get their orders in, and until quite recently, there were packs available to order in both CS and TPE - what it shows up is human nature, the FOMO, and wanting something that can't be had. The internet then gives voice to those that want to vent their frustrations, whether real or imagined.
  10. @The StationmasterThat's not a yellow Darvic label in the label clip, it's a traditional wagon label, and was there on the original run as well!
  11. Really? Nowhere near the variables involved in doing the air-smoothed MNs, and I have a bit of experience in that department :-)
  12. Well, we already do 3-link and Screw Couplings in packs, as well as the Magnetic Chain Couplings, but what would you like to see us do for the Siphons and Mk1s if that isn't what you're after? Bets wishes, Paul.
  13. Guess you're going to be disappointed on at least several occasions this year then @jonnyuk 😀
  14. The W1 was begun in 2016, and the 9F was begun in February 2020 @TomScrut, just to put the record straight there. And, to remind you, the 2MT and 88DS are still outstanding, despite EPs being available when I was still there 😉
  15. I still have good friends that are there and I will enjoy chatting to some of them over the course of this weekend. Time to return to the subject of the ultimate Class 50 😉
  16. And hence why two team members have 'crossed the floor' from those old hands...
